James kudos to you, you lead by example and your interaction and they way you look after your people is excellent and i can see why they go the extra mile for you. Good luck with the rest of the Harvest and hope the weather is kind to you and all the farmers..
This farming operation should be shown to all sectors of business , the focus of the team to work together, to achieve their goals is truely fantastic, but the foundation to the success of P.X is undoubtedly as I see it, is that each member of staff is valued and that their contribution is acknowledged and laughter is always in the air.
What an absolutely brilliant channel this is. Though the scale of farming involved is not something we’d be familiar with here in Ireland, it is still fascinating to watch. Your interactions with your team shows a buisness man who is driven to succeed by encouraging and rewarding those around you, but also shows an individual with a great passion for farming! Wishing you every success James!
James absolutely no shame in blocking combine!🙈😂 I’ve blocked one several yrs ago took 4 1/2 hrs to clear! Guarantee you learn from it! And lessen the chances of it happening again! And yes it’s always the hottest day of the year 🙈🤣
I’ve said this before, how well you look after your staff, and the way you can still have a laugh with them even when things go wrong, to many employers think if someone is laughing whilst at work they are not working hard enough, and all I can say to that is to watch your channel, they will learn how to get the most out of their staff and improve a working environment, hats off to you james 👌
I’m absolutely obsessed with your videos, hugely entertaining and educational. Can you provide more info next video on your seasonal crop rotation? Do you grow different things in different seasons?
Got to say the way you treat your staff is nice to see a lot of respect to you + you seem to have a great bunch of lads love watching keep up the great work
Good work from all the lads at PX farms. I was lucky enough to do two harvests back in 95 and 97 at Roxton so brings back a lot of memories. Keep up the good commentary James.
Another excellent video, the way you run your team and business is second to none.. very glad you're doing regular updates.. Congratulations to Sandy and his wife on the birth of their daughter and what a lovely touch getting the PX baby grows..👍
James, another great video, always sharing your knowledge on ups and downs of harvest time, detail of all that is vital in combining and what has to be done to pick up the harvest from the ground, your friendship with the work colleagues is a standing point of been a great leader, the laughter and banter is always a great asset when you are working, keep up your spirits and always enjoy what you do, have a great harvest overall, all the best to you and your work team, and your family, Michael power, county Waterford Ireland [Eire]
I am a loss to understand why someone in a village should think to email you when it is plain to see the trouble you go to to showcase the PX brand, but what a lovely thing to have PX baby grows for Sandys little girl.
@merv690 There's people who move to the countryside and do not have one Jot of knowledge or understanding of what rural life entails, I would imagine thry have no.idea where the flour comes from to make the bread they eat, sure if you asked thrm most probably just say the supermarket... clueless
Have to say James its been interesting viewing seeing how much your operation has changed from when i was last on your cambridgeshire farms hedge cutting a few years back. Certainly your youtube content this year is some of the best ive seen and also humourous too. Thank you for taking time out to share your business
What a set up. Great to see. I've shown a few lads here in western Australia your videos. Bit blown away with the yields. Great to see the whole team getting along. Keep them coming.
Another great update James, well done on the 10k subscribers . The team you have are excellent , they all pull together and that makes a lot of difference in getting the job done. Hope the weather keeps good and you can press on with harvest.
Outstanding leadership, no wonder why you have a great team behind you,,really am enjoying your videos , especially as an ex tractor driver , it’s still good to see what’s others dom
safety chain James least pipes and cables stay intact save me once with a square baler, when the tow pin snapped. can't wait for tomorrows video when James gets demoted to a chaser bin. love to have a go on of these combines. i turned up at the hospital with a calving aid wife nearly killed me. nice gift getting the PX baby clothes.
Hi James another good video thank you. I'm in my 70's now, combines have come along way since my days in the 60.s working on Ransoms machines. I live about 10minutes from, What to me was Manns of Saxham (Class).
Outstanding leadership, no wonder why you have a great team behind you,,really am enjoying your videos , especially as an ex tractor driver , it’s still good to see what’s others are doing , and I was the 1k like button this evening 😊
As my dad used to point out when a cow died and it upset me “where you have stock you have losses”. Like you and looking back sixty years ago he was very philosophical . I suppose the same applies to machinery mishaps, it’s no use crying over spilt milk.
My dad was full of sayings similar , if you've got livestock , you've got dead stock , and his favourite, them that has them, has them to lose , them that hasn't hasn't, can't! , lost a calf today ,and sometimes you have to dig deep to find the perseverance
Combine leader board sabotage - it was going so well !! Lesson learned no doubt - great that the main pro operator is back this week. Back to the office for you !! Great vid get a real feel for harvest - well done all.
James nice of you and your combine drivers are making time to show children around combines and giving them a ride round in cab You’ve answered my question about combining layed crops Makes the driver earn is corn
feel like this channel is taking off... 20k will soon come around. another great video, particularly for people like me from a livestock background (small scale at that!)
You took one, more than one in fact, for the team this week. Leading from the front, wrecking stuff to say "Boys, this is what I don't want you to do."
Great videos. very interesting on ergot - never heard of it years ago. Organic high - well at least it's high class version! For Sandy: if you think it's a test having a new baby, wait till they get to 18!!
You are not the first and certainly won't be the last at least you're still smiling. With all of the other crap going off in this country at the end of day it's a blocked drum and even better you've got somebody to clean it out. Great videos
We all have good days and bad days. But your cracking on with it 👍it's a very high end professional outfit you run. 👌 I'm pretty sure you will hit your 25000 acres one day. It's hard for us smaller farmers to carry on. And you will hit 100k subscribers in no time it's a great farming channel. Well done James 👏 ✔️ 👍 and to the rest of your staff 👏 👍 🙂
Another cracking video….. great to see how yer going!!! I heard a Rumour that some Spring barley yielding better that the winter barley…… maybe lies or just could happen anyways!! Sooo looking forward to ye hitting the spring crops!!! Now James I think we all should be rewarded if you hit a certain target subscribers?? Maybe a comp OR you doing something you don’t like??
Great video James and congratulations on 10k and another, saying is id10t combines blocking is a pain there a guy in Canada, with brand new X9 and he was blocking that up regularly and swapped, to older combine’s which stopped the blocking and great content 👍👍
Good evening James interesting video thanks glad you're getting many subscribers we'll done my son playing farming simulator has all your Volvo trucks in your colours + claas combines having no problems lol😂😂
LOVING IT. Nice to hear the kids are getting a ride as well. We were lucky enough to have access to smaller machines years ago. It was part and parcel of our summers. Whereas nowadays people don't have that connection and times have changed for other reasons (sadly) Have you had any more thoughts or decisions regarding the purchase of new hgv trailers?
It's a great channel and will definitely pass 25,000 subs before long. As for making shorter video's, if that's the case then we would like them more often please.
James did u ever drive a nh 133.if u did u would know what lifting laid corn was like.Forty years ago still trying to recover. Keep her lit.best wishes from ire
Hi James, love the content, I just noticed that you were all wearing chaps around your ankles , I've never seen these before. What a great idea to keep grain and barley beards out of your boots. What's their correct title and where can i get them. Thank you in advance 👍
Well, these things happen to the best of us James. At least you have the humility to admit a mistake; everyone will think better of you for that 😊 Keep the vids coming my friend, they are an absolutely top display of your well run outfit. Blockages an' all !!! 😂 Thanks everyone.
These clips are making me seriously tired in the morning, they are compulsive viewing, and can’t help myself to watch them. Brilliant warts and all footage, don’t worry James, we all have a few mishaps! Do your chaser bins run on gps when unloading on the move, as part of your ctf? Please keep these clips coming ❤
Do you have the ability to use lifters with a Convio header or does altering the knife angle prevent their use? Re your 25,000 acre target, do you own all the land you currently farm or is some under contract. Finally an old english proverb "he who blocks the combine, unblocks the b- - - - r!!!
Am in the legalize minor stuff dept, apart from class A = lives destroyed (and seen that many times which is why). Instead of a whisky or baileys, have an ercot cake ;-)) Nurse said cant have a drink, affect me blood flow.
Great video as usual, but if I had to be slightly critical they are getting a little bit long in my opinion. That bloke who waffles in Lincolnshire has done a bit of research and 20 - 25 minutes was about right for most watchers. 🙂
Don't agree at all, that they are too long.We should be grateful that a very busy man takes the time and trouble to upload the videos for our enjoyment and I don't think negative comments are at all warranted.
It’s hardly a negative comment. Just a suggestion that maybe two 20 minute videos would get more views than one 40 minute video. Andrew Ward did a survey of his subscribers and two twenty minute videos a week was what proved most popular.
Great report from James and the team - highly informative and professional - well done all Team PX - I did rather enjoy the 2011 Nuffield video with your early thoughts and a very young looking James!! ua-cam.com/video/FHuus9j8-v4/v-deo.htmlsi=Y454TjoOhclLaGXa
Best farming channel on UA-cam at the moment, keep it up James
James kudos to you, you lead by example and your interaction and they way you look after your people is excellent and i can see why they go the extra mile for you. Good luck with the rest of the Harvest and hope the weather is kind to you and all the farmers..
Many in management could learn a lot by watching this awesome channel. You look after the staff so well and its great to see.

This channel is going to go very far! Well done on showcasing farming! Great content!
It's a pleasure to see a boss who takes it on the chin good lad.

Great honest video as always, great team.

Love the talk to me goose😀😀😀😀
You took one, more than one in fact, for the team this week. Leading from the front, wrecking stuff to say "Boys, this is what I don't want you to do."
24k views nearly as many as the acres you want to farm. Great videos looking forward to seeing the cultivations and drilling soon.
Well done always good to watch
great to see passion all the best
If there’s not a problem it isn’t farming! 😂
Great video. Well done team.
You all looked very impressive coming back home on the A428 at Caxton 😊
Again, great video James.
Great update. Still getting on well. I find myself breaking stuff as I get older!

Great video ✅
Question I had from one of the earliest videos was Chicken manure you used to process from the power station. Do you still do this?
LOVING IT. Nice to hear the kids are getting a ride as well. We were lucky enough to have access to smaller machines years ago. It was part and parcel of our summers. Whereas nowadays people don't have that connection and times have changed for other reasons (sadly)

James you making very informative video. If you use SEO friendly title people can easily find you channel. You are very hard working parson.
As you have fendt tractors have you tried fendt or massey combines
Great content we just wondered How many acres do you farm
Note to Class UK, you've left your big tool on the combine seat. 😂😂
Great video James
Looking forward to a tour of the grain Hospital if possible.
Well, these things happen to the best of us James. At least you have the humility to admit a mistake; everyone will think better of you for that 😊
Keep the vids coming my friend, they are an absolutely top display of your well run outfit.
Blockages an' all !!! 😂
Thanks everyone.
Great Channel well oiled machine
A Good boss and happy staff makes a great team 😊Credit to you James😊really enjoy your uploads regards😊👍😊👍
What if the staff think boss is a dick head, but still nod in agreement ?? But staff seem happy and willing in this scenario
Hi James I’m a new subscriber, how many acres do you farm .?
Do you have a UA-cam of the grain sorter and dealing with ergot
These clips are making me seriously tired in the morning, they are compulsive viewing, and can’t help myself to watch them. Brilliant warts and all footage, don’t worry James, we all have a few mishaps! Do your chaser bins run on gps when unloading on the move, as part of your ctf? Please keep these clips coming ❤
Does the gov buy the cleaned out ergot? 😊

Is there such a thing as uk wheat belt? If so you must be central to it.
It’s like a Swiss watch running perfectly. If a tractor costs £300,000 how much does a combine cost ?
How did the oilseed rape and winter barley turn out?
How many acres in total would you harvest
Very efficient farming practice but do you actually make any money?
PICNIC 😂
Also want to start making "Ergot.Bread".. normal bread with a bit of sizzle..
Am in the legalize minor stuff dept, apart from class A = lives destroyed (and seen that many times which is why). Instead of a whisky or baileys, have an ercot cake ;-)) Nurse said cant have a drink, affect me blood flow.
Is it just me or does anyone else just think of ralph and ted in the fast show
Have you ever grown green peas or beans?I suppose it wouldn’t work with your CTF
Huge losses on the combine screen 😂😂
Tail corn lol
I used to tell my boss it was beetles and bugs giving a false reading
😂😂 looks like someone needs a traing course at Class
I'm in second, then
Great video as usual, but if I had to be slightly critical they are getting a little bit long in my opinion. That bloke who waffles in Lincolnshire has done a bit of research and 20 - 25 minutes was about right for most watchers. 🙂
