@@mmmargh4743 hes been running bl2 for a really long time and hes a big name in the community but hes pretty young so he wasnt old enough to legally run in SGDQ/AGDQ for ages
Deceptix absolutely crushed this run. Geared is so movement-intensive and he literally didn't miss a single trick.
I wish more runners would have people on the couch that aren't familiar with the game. Bryonato having interesting questions about the game and the run was a really fun addition.
Borderlands 2 really was the best in all the series. Amazingly fun game!
dude is quite literally the best borderlands 2 player, it's very nice to see borderlands 2 getting some love.
I hope this run gets more views and interactions on YT because it is really really REALLY good. Way to go Deceptix
Love seeing BL2 represented! Modded/glitched runs arrent usually my favorite but this is just impressive to watch

Incredible run. I think Deceptix is the most talented runner I’ve seen, he barely missed anything. It was like watching a TAS run.
It's always nice having someone less familiar on the couch to ask questions about things the people that are deep into the game might take for granted. Great job couch dudes/runner!
I like that the dudes were so hyped to talk about what was going on in the run that they kept telling the host to hold on a sec whenever she wanted to do donations 😂. That's the kind of couch you want!
Edit: I also really like the idea of having someone who doesn't really know what's going on on the couch to ask questions that seem obvious to people who run the game. Helps a make the run more understandable.
That person is almost always bryonato and I mean this in the best way possible. He's EXCEPTIONAL at pretending to be ignorant. He knows a lot of the things he asks about. He's done lots of runs in lots of games himself but every time he's on the couch he adds these questions for the rest of his couch or the runners and it makes the commentary shine.
Tldr bryonato is great.

I always felt that the Borderlands series was originally a PC game that got later ported to console, it just runs so smoothly and better, it's definitely the definitive way to play it, when I play on console, it's so broken and glitchy, not to mention laggy.

player height corresponds inversely with frame rate in Borderlands 2. Maybe proportionally. I can’t remember.
i love how badass rank isnt allowed but cheating in nearly unobtainable weapons is perfectly fine xD (i mean the Badaboom), oh and also the skillpoint dupe is basicly impossible

now i wonder when they do these new game+ categorys do they have someone farm all the equipment or do they cheat engine it in and just use the equipment? marathon setting and all that.
They use the borderlands 2 gibbed save editor to get ideal items that are possible, if you notice the start of the run he mouses over every item in his inventory before starting double check, and as mentioned in run the editor is used to emulate the duplicate skill point glitch.

Are those weapons modded? Their damage is massive! Same thing with the shield.
Not modded ! The save has been edited though.
A modded weapon will have a black outline in the inventory
Google "pimperhab glitch" its in the game, no mods. The shield is also just strong, 94% absorb is the max value

the run was amazing!
but what i thought was a bit improve worthy are the talking with the moderator donation-reader, often she asks or you say yes but then cut her off to say something really minor or unimportant.. felt a bit awkward and unnessessary wish to see some improvement everything else PURE enjoyment

God the end of that DLC still fucking hurts. Great run, though the save and quit technique was vastly more obnoxious than any of the characters you guys were dumping on.

Lilith is annoying, but Tina is straight up a great character, I don't get how you could hate her.
Hating on Lilith is tradition, noone likes her cutscenes when you play the game often ... Tina is just loud, but at least not that annoying imo
Even though I know all the tricks, it was still very entertaining to watch and listen every step he does. Deceptix is awesome. Bloody good job!
