I just finished the vintage glory quilt! I never thought I would enjoy quilting but after watching your videos (so encouraging and helpful) I got hooked! My skills are nowhere near yours, but I’m having fun learning. My little Bernina that’s almost 50 years old is all I use! She has to take periodic rests when I do the quilting, but so far she’s hanging in there😁 Thanks for sharing your talents!

I purchased your Stars and Stripes quilt pattern a while back!! I just now finally today ordered my fabric for it! I am SO excited to get started on it! I decided to use Land of the Brave fq bundle for the blocks since American Dream seems to be hard to find. I plan to use aqua and low volume like the pattern calls for with a navy gingham binding!

I am so BAD!!! I start another quilt before I get the previous one quilted... Soooo, I need to quilt Vintage Glory, Freedom, Stars & Stripes, the July Stitch-y House, and not one but TWO Valor Quilts... These are all ready to quilt!! And last night, I just started the Liberty QAL... I think I have a problem...

I ordered and made the stars and stripes quilt pattern. There were a few typos on the pattern. However, I was able to work my way through it and finally get the quilt top completed. I wondered why there wasn’t one solid rectangular piece to sew to the top and bottom of each flag instead of six different pieces? This pattern definitely needs some correction. Overall, I love the quilt.
Oh I'm sorry, please let me know if you find errors so we can check them out! I did a mix of low volume prints for more variety and texture so that's why there are more pieces. I wanted it to look a little more "patchwork" like. :)
We do have a 'corrections' page on our website as well if you ever have questions, but I don't have anything for Stars and Stripes, so please let me know if you have issues! :)
Oh, I only used one low volume solid for this quilt. But now I understand why there are six pieces. That makes sense.
If you look at the stars and stripes pattern over in the column, which says “whole quilt”,five lines down, it should say (12) 4-3/4 x 5- 1/2”. Anyway, overall, I love this quilt and love your tutorials. I’m going to quilt it tonight just in time to put it on my bed for the Fourth of July!🇺🇸

I was asked to sell to some friends, could you tell me how much would be fare to charge? I’m not a business person 😬. Thank you so much for your advise ❤
I make quilts for friends and it’s really tricky to work out what to charge. I keep a record of the cost of fabric, batting, thread etc but I don’t charge for my time. Unless you sew yourself you have no idea how long it takes to make something 🤷🏼

11:15 I am working on hot pads. I am barely begging to learn how to quilt. I have no idea what I would do with a lot of quilts. Any ideas. Do you have to store a lot of them
