- There's less than a week until our fundraising event for @alpinerescuecanterbury and there are still tickets available! 😱
Join us for an evening of learning how you can keep yourself and others safe in the mountains with what you already have in your pack, with the amazingly skilled team from Alpine Rescue Canterbury!
You'll learn all about:
How to make an improvised stretcher.
Package a person (I know it sounds terrible - but it could save a life) and move
them in the backcountry.
Emergency repair kits and how to use them.
First Aid Hacks.
Emergency Gear.
What's in your First Aid Kit and why.
All the money from ticket sales goes straight to ARC, so they can keep doing all the amazing work of saving lives in the mountains!
There's also an EPIC bonus when you buy a ticket to the event - you also go into the draw to win a prize pack worth $2100, all donated from local Canterbury Outdoor businesses!
