Like OBJ they don’t need a prime Jonnu. If Miami gets close to the 50 receptions and 500+ yards he put up last year. This offense got so much more dangerous. Take that with OBJ as a the vertical third option they didn’t have last year. Plus the depth they added at WR and RB. They are gonna be more than a handful this year offensively. and the Dolphins have added OBJ, have added A TE that's better at receiving in Jonnu Smith and have added another scary fast running back in Jaylen Wright.
What you noticing about the right ends is exactly why Mike gesicki never had a chance of sticking around when McDaniel got to Miami. Needs blockers. Can't wait to see what jonu smith brings to the offense
listen as a prideful fins fan yes the highlights are there and they are amazing but they dont matter till we win it big. nothing got me more hyped than seeing what our team will do this year
We just have to be healthy late in the year… a lot of our late season collapses were due to health… I’m tired of going into a playoff game with 3rd stringers and guys we signed off their couches To start in a playoff game
What’s cool is TE #89 is an undrafted guy. #85 is River Cracraft, blocking WR last with the 9ers. #81 TE Tyler Croft also last with the 9ers. So many former 9ers on this team. It’s cool to see.
I love watching your reaction videos about the dolphins. I'm a big fan of there's. And most of the people I see reacting to them don't know shit about football, but you do. Alot more then most of the others on here.
I remember Mostert on the Dolphins as a rookie in 2015. He went undrafted and had a amazing preseason with the Eagles, they cut him start of the season, he signs with Miami. Then he gets some kick returns in Miami they don't use him much and put him on the practice squad and he gets poached by Baltimore, then Browns(4 different teams his rookie year). Next season he on the Jets practice squad, then Chicago, then SF. It took 7 teams before they realized this guy could play smh. I was pissed when Miami released him the first time, glad he returned to finish the job.
You may as well roll the tape on Achane next. Then check Jaylen Wright's tape after that. This 3 headed monster is gonna be nice next season. Dont forget we added Jonnu Smith at TE. I believe he led the league in YAC. Also added OBJ and Malik Washington to the receiver room. If the Oline holds up this offense is gonna be nasty.
That Broncos game was the most fun I've had as a Dolphins fan since like 1992 lol. And yeah, this team is FAST and McDaniel knows how to use the pre-snap motion and gets his speedsters out on the edges, where they can make one cut and take any play for a 60 yard TD. And Tua doesn't get the credit, but his accuracy and ability to get the ball out quick, puts defenders in a big disadvantage vs these track team RBs. And now they added Jaylen Wright out of Tennessee, who also runs a 4.3 in the 40. Achane, Mostert, Wright are all 4.3 and faster RBs.. Watch out NFL. Jaylen Wright might become the steal of the 2024 draft. He's been killing it in camp, and they got him in the 4th when most expected him to be a 2nd round pick.
81 (Smythe) is a great blocker who I've seen crush dudes since Miami drafted him. 89 (Hill) was an undrafted rookie last season and is showing tons of promise. Te's are an extension to the run game in McDaniels system which is why we generally have a consensus top receiver room and bottom 3 TE group if you're going off receptions alone just imagine if they had a kittle lol
we got jonnu smith at TE who averaged 11 a catch and 8th in yards after catch in the nfl last year! also we kept smythe(81) sorry bro your hawks are cooked against us. Jordyn Brooks gonna have 20 tackles against you guys too. love the fins content. you got my like!!!!!
molsert is a good back he just breaksdown at end od season too much. you asked what happened with him in SF this it once he got his chance he got hurt . once again great breakdown by you Respect
You are right about Tua . His best traits is his deception with the eyes. I just hate when he rolls out, I'm always in fear for the wrost , but he sure knows how to fool the defense.
In that Jets game in Miami, the Dolphins had FOUR backup offensive linemen playing. The only starter playing was their LT Armstead, and he was playing hurt. So they almost had to play that game with 5 backups on the o-line. Not too many people realized, that Mostert did this while playing most weeks with 2-4 starting offensive linemen out. They even played 2-3 games where they had 4 out of 5 starters out, and he still put up 20+ TDs. It's a damn shame how the season ended for Miami. Going into week 12, they were 9-3 and had got there while dealing with injuries all over their roster. But after week 12, it just got ridiculous, losing all four of their edge rushers, playing with 1-2 injured CBs like Xavien Howard who also missed several games. Their offensive line wasn't healthy almost the whole season, and by the end, Mostert, Hill, Waddle, were all either out hurt or playing hurt, and you saw a huge difference in the team by the end and into their playoff game. Even while dealing with 10+ starters hurt vs the Bills in the Wild Card game, they had a chance to win it on the last drive, but Claypool ran a terrible route and Tua's pass got intercepted and ended the game around midfield. If Miami didn't have the most injuries BY FAR in the NFL last year, they could have been in the AFC Championship game. Just watch how they looked the first 3-4 weeks, when their o-line was healthy, and their defense was mostly healthy, and they looked like the best team in the AFC, and some even had them as the best team in the NFL at one point. If they can have better luck in 2024, they should at least win a playoff game and who knows how far they can get. But injuries to the degree the Dolphins had, DO have an impact on a team.
They added Johnu Smith and Jody Fortson two fast yac beasts at TE to compliment Smythe (81) and Hill (89). Good times. Then add Jaylen Wright to the RB room and the two Washingtons to the WR room, it's speed added to speed.
He's gotten better each of his two seasons under McDaniel. And he does the little things really well and doesn't get the credit for it. All Tua has to do is move around better in the pocket to buy a few extra seconds when his first read isn't open, and avoid forcing throws that end up in INTs. McDaniel and this offense is perfect for Tua's skill set. A lot of timing and throws that require accuracy, and I expect him to be even better in 2024 with the additions of OBJ, Jonnu Smith, and Jaylen Wright. He just needs to play better against the top teams, because it sometimes looks like he's nervous or trying to do too much, instead of just running the offense the way he does vs the lesser teams in the league.
Bro! Great content! At this point, you’re a glorified Phins Fan, lol! Peep on that Mostert TD against Dallas how #14 Marquees Bell took his eyes off Mostert for the slightest second and that opened up the lane for the TD. I think he was his man and ended up all the way on the other side of the field. #FinsUp #GoFins
Mostert and JWJ were both teammates at SF, and JWJ was definitely the angrier of the two...Mostert was always a bit more of a finesse runner, though he'll lay a hit too
The fact Salvon Ahmed is also under 6' and 200lbs, is number 26 instead of Achane's 28, and last name is so similar trips a lot of people up. The easiest way to tell last season was by checking the cleats. If they're orange it's Ahmed
Anthony Schwartz went to American Heritage HS, and played at Auburn. He was one of the fastest recruits that year and I believe he posted a sub 10 second 100m. I remember ppl talking about whether he would play football or pursue a career in track. Dude is world class fast.
We got better on offense this year too. OBJ, and Jonnu are going to help a lot on 3rd down. We never had a 3rd wr option like OBJ, and no TE threat at all. Just a little bit from TE and WR3 is going to take us the next level. We already had the best offense last year -- going to be even better this year.
Its not complicated, how many time they mentioned Ingold (Alec former Raiders) run behind him or Brooks, Berrios and Cracraft are both small but takes pride in blocking. If the run can create yards it becomes very easy to sneak it to Trhill . At the end we saw good the good blocking from the TE’s, Smythe and Jullian Hill.
Phins lead the league pony personnel with two RBs on the field. It's a good example of how McDaniel took the Shanahan offense and made it faster (and lighter for better or worse). Obviously the 49ers are in 21 personnel all the time, but the second back is usually full back Kyle Juszczyk who can run or catch a pass pretty well when called upon, but he's not a big play threat or anything. On the Dolphins the two back are very often Mostert and Achane. Obviously Achane can't block so great, but he is a threat to run for a 70 yard TD at any moment.
i do like the Dolphins' RB crew, a couple of veteran RBs (Mostert, Wilson) and the young RBs are going to be great. If Achane is moved to WR, even better. Coach will have some tough decisions on the final 53 in regards to the RBs he keeps on the roster. Can you imagine Hill, Waddle, Achane at WR and Mostert and/or Wright in the backfield.
In Miami Mike's system, as a TE if you can't block.. as a WR if you can't block for the run, you won't play. Tyreek is the exception I'm sure but he still blocks.
You keep watching Dolphins plays, you going to be a fan soon!
It’s crazy you mentioned the TE evolving in the offense. That’s why that Jonnu smith pick up is slept on.

These Dolphins breakdowns have been great. Thanks. It's hard to love football and not love the Dolphins offense. 👍🏻🐬
They added Johnu Smith and Jody Fortson two fast yac beasts at TE to compliment Smythe (81) and Hill (89). Good times. Then add Jaylen Wright to the RB room and the two Washingtons to the WR room, it's speed added to speed.
Tuas pocket movement and how he sells plays with his body is talked about enough… we knows how the “sell” a play
MOSTERT
Damn lol 😂
Mostert was not really a contact dood but once miami brought in Jeff Wilson, it woke up a dog in Mostert
Ok I was gonna say I don’t remember him running like this
Mostert and JWJ were both teammates at SF, and JWJ was definitely the angrier of the two...Mostert was always a bit more of a finesse runner, though he'll lay a hit too
For TE we signed Jonnu Smith
Anthony came from Cleveland he's good for screen passes
Great content! You should do Achane highlights
The fact Salvon Ahmed is also under 6' and 200lbs, is number 26 instead of Achane's 28, and last name is so similar trips a lot of people up.
The easiest way to tell last season was by checking the cleats. If they're orange it's Ahmed
lol damn
Come and ride this train.....it's a chip choo ride it! Phins up! 🐬
Alec Ingold is the FB from the Raiders
No way
@@BigR365 I saw you figured out his name later on the video. 🤦🏼♂️😂
Jaylen Wright IS THE NEXT MOSERT
21 TDs last year...pretty much says it all
Bro Miami picked up Janu smith he’s a speedy tight end with good hands and good blocking
What's so bad is Miami had all these plays, but Mike McDaniel didn't use any plays like this against the Chiefs. - from a Dolphins fan
Anthony Schwartz went to American Heritage HS, and played at Auburn. He was one of the fastest recruits that year and I believe he posted a sub 10 second 100m. I remember ppl talking about whether he would play football or pursue a career in track. Dude is world class fast.
I really like your videos your love for the game is obvious
We got better on offense this year too. OBJ, and Jonnu are going to help a lot on 3rd down. We never had a 3rd wr option like OBJ, and no TE threat at all. Just a little bit from TE and WR3 is going to take us the next level. We already had the best offense last year -- going to be even better this year.
Dolphins Run Blocking is UNDERRATED~
81, Smythe has always been a good blocker, but hes slow and not a pass catching threat.
He wasn’t swimming .. he’s really into surfing so he was imitating the paddling motion that surfers do and then the “popping up” on the surf board.
Pumped for this coming season. Phins will have a good year.
To answer your TE question "did they draft a Tight End?" No, they signed Jonnu Smith
Alec Ingold is Miamis Unsung hero, without a doubt a key piece to the reason why Miami has the offensive push they do
If you like stats, go check out Mostert's career stats. He put up more this past season that all other seasons combined. He was unchained!
When you pause n say “Hold up bruh” all I could think is “I know bro, most underrated rb in the league” 😂
OBJ as a zone buster #3 WR and J.Smith is the action TE. If Smith can do enough in the blocking game to keep them honest it could be a wrap
They picked up a TE from the Falcons, a dude named Jonnu Smith...
Mostert had like 30 tds last year. Hes an endzone magnet
Mostert’s weight on ESPN is wrong. He used be at 205 but he added 10 pounds before the start of last season
That's why the Miami dolphin paid good money for ingold the fullback dude can block and got vision
