@@heavenlymilano I'm sorry for your experience. In fact, Sichuan people are very welcoming to friends from all over the world. The following may be the reasons why the store clerk is not friendly enough: monthly performance appraisal, too busy work, and unhappy trivial matters in life.
@@DraculaDHY I visited Chengdu for 1 week and not a single person replied "you're welcome" when I said thank you. I am under the impression that these people are threatened by the government not to reply when they are spoken to.
