I agree. Not many actresses or actors for that matter can act with no words and using only their facial gestures! Winona was brilliant at it. And she’s absolutely beautiful too!
what a coming of age movie this was for me I considered myself to be a dinky basetti always in my own world and this song brings back so many memories of my childhood and this movie
Indeed i was.a dinky basseti 100$% my puberty adolescent years were spent in a library reading allways caught in someones eyes lost in they're name only they were never real. When finally they became real only made it harder dreams shatter hopes fail and as you age you begin to see people and the world for who and what its all about and those hopeful eyes you once saw the world through have greatly dimmed. Yes I know its decrepit and dark but all too true
I have this movie to thank for first recognizing the incredible Melissa Etheridge. I heard that voice and thought who is that? She has been my favorite aritst ever since. Icredible voice and person. Saw her in concert, she is a powerhouse.
thank u for uploading these clips... i was such a big fan of this movie. actually, obsessed may be the word. i guess as a bookworm kind of kid, i related to dinky. still do. thanks again! =)
She played Amanda Grayson (Spock's mom) in the 2009 "Star Trek" movie. The movie came out this summer and is out on DVD. She was great as Amanda. Beautiful, too!
I absolutely loved this movie when I was a kid. Always been a fan of Wynona Ryder’s. Even as a young actress she took chances on roles most young girls her age wouldn’t have! Could you have pictured Alicia Silverstone for example playing a raggedy girl named Dinky who doesn’t brush her hair??!! 😂 Or a Goth Like chick?! Wynona Ryder didn’t care! And she’s absolutely beautiful too!
A geek to the core my whole life of adolescence was spent with my face burried in a book i didn't really come out of My shell till about 23 at which time i became a self made millionaire married had 2 kids everywhere I went men women would hit on me about my looks my body saying how hot and good looking I was it made me so self conscious i was never able to accept any compliments and still can't at 43
ME TOO. I have the album version, which is good, but Melissa turned it into a less passionate rock song. It's a good song, but she took out the passion and emotion and added the drums and it doesn't sound romantic or anything. I want this version, the In Roxy's Eyes song.
I always loved the way Melissa Etheridge sings this song! love this movie too!
Oh my, what a walk down memory lane. I loved this movie so much.
I loved the times it was innocent clean i saw the world from such hopeful eyes and now? I will never be the same
One of my favorite movies, Winona’s eyes are mesmerizing. Thomas Brown was a handsome young man.
Meu também :D
