Faster than an M3 CS not too bad. Doesn’t look as sporty as the old GTS/C but I guess this is the base release and they’d bring out track focused one later.
You forget that is a Sportcar! the M3 CS is very fast and is a Sedan!
@@Moddin1007 You forget that the M3 CS is BMW’s track focused car the best they offer (besides M4 CSL) that weighs 200kg less and is on Cup 2 Tyres. It’s kinda embarrassing it was slower considering how much the AMG weighs and the tyre difference.

Warum nicht Nordschleife oder Hockenheim ? Oder eine Rundenzeit beim Einkaufen auf dem Parkplatz. Dafür wurde der Wagen gebaut. Auf Kundenwunsch.

Was denkt sich Mercedes bei diesem Auto? Das hat mit Motorsport und Emotionen in etwa soviel zu tun , wie mit dem Bus über die Nordschleife zu fahren. Ich behalte meinen GTR 💥

Er war zwar wirklich schnell und sieht auch gut aus, aber das extreme Untersteuern und der Fake-Sound sprechen nicht für den neuen GT.
ein zwei Bilder oder eine Video (einmal um die Karre rumlaufen) zu Beginn vom Video wären immer toll

Das ist doch kein Sportauto mehr. Zwei Tonnen, enormer Reifenverschleiß.... Der GT wurde als Konkurrent zum 911er aufgestellt, in der neuen Generation ist er eher ein Panamera-Gegner ohne Rückbank.
Ich meine der neue GT hat sogar eine Rückbank, da Kunden wohl ein 4-sitziges Coupé forderten.

even tho its pretty heavy and understeers a lot
I mean it better be faster than a BMW M3 CS lol… that’s a sedan and way more practical. Would have expected this (supposed to be full sports car) to be faster, but it’s only a couple tenths quicker. I like Merecedes, but BMW continues to beat Mercedes in every category
@@dudekk08 het what you mean but it’s the M3 CS which is lighter (than a normal comp and the Merc).
Weight doesn’t really matter all that much tbh. Comparing a C63 AMG would be equal comparison to M3. This is AMG GT63, BMW simply isn’t in that segment currently. BMW 3 series outperforms C63 AMG. Same with M2, M4, M5… etc. All better than the Mercedes competitors.
@@dudekk08 you’re about bmw out performing Merc in most categories. I think an M8 coup would be a more fair comparison to this AMG GT. Furthermore, in general weight is everything when in comes down to performance. Power to weight ratio is most important. I just looked up the price here in the Netherlands of a AMG GT 63. It’s for sale in lots of dealers for around EUR 330.000!! That’s what you pay for a 992 turbo S. Absurd

Also, das ist die kurze Strecke. Da bin ich mit meinem Auto 2 Sekunden schneller und der kostet nur 1/3. Gewicht 1150 KG bei 350 PS. Alles klar?
