I do like the idea of the original Anne's spirit seeing how Sprig and her copy and doing before passing on, a way for her to know that things turned out okay.
It’s sort of a dark concept, imagine dying for someone you really care about, watching over them, knowing that you are the true version of yourself, and that you are dead, but then seeing your copy living your life. That will definitely give Anne some existential dread

Well, It's similar to that certain ending.

I'm guessing that if the guardian Made a copy before her death it is because there is no spirit or anything left to talk to after someone dies, so they did give absolute death to the protagonist, they just cloned her inmediatly
I still think it’s so weird that there is a copy of Anne, when her mom sees Anne 2.0 it’s not the child that she gave birth too. The character that we spent 3 seasons with DIES and I literal copy of her is living a life that she probably would have! I’m never going to get over it tbh

She sacrificed her life for the future of amphibia. But she never got to see her parents again and throw her own future away.
