Hi Darren, your roadtrip videos were perfect preparation of a similar excursion, my photography friend and I will do in June 24 - many thanks for that. Frank / Hamburg
Thanks a million Frank! Delighted you enjoyed them

Good man, one of the most difficult sections of the Copper Coast to get a good shot., especially on a dull day.
Cheers Ferg, you're on a greatest hits tour are ya ? :-) almost 2 years since I made this one.. time flies :-)
Love this!! Music, timings, your presentation! Top!! Now let’s talk about the photography! 13:52 class!! 👌
Mali Photography Thanks a million Mali.. that image I like a lot
Also . It’s the next one I publish from this episode .. Stay tuned :-)

Stepping it up Darren, awesome mate. Great location, sweet broll and nicely explained. Lovely shots too. 👍
+ian worth thanks very much Buddy.. hope you enjoy your catch up :-)
I'm thinking about giving landscape another go and these tips will help me out. Next on my list is getting one of those sweet MLP hats 😜
David Woodland they are comfy. I’ll give you go of my one.
Get back out there David , and if you get enough shots there will always be a chance you can get one of the super duper comfy warm Hata’s :-)
Excellent tips for composition, forgive me but I did not like the first image so much because of the sea stack going through the headland in the distance, but when you repositioned to take in the series of stacks and foreground boulders the last few images where the composition and quality of the shots were stunning. regards.
Thanks very much , I preferred the last set of images myself also :-)
2nd to last shot is very nice Darren with the use of the receding waves as lead in lines and well balanced with the stacks. Very insightful vlog matey. Lots of food for thought. Why do you chose an RGB histogram by the way?
James R Burns thank you very much James , delighted you enjoyed the location , will have to bring you there someday .. there isn’t a greyscale version on the 6D mk1 and I also like to watch out for the blue clipping when shooting
The sea stacks were nice, but I like the images at the end the best. Really nicely done Darren. No drone footage in this one, was it too windy?
Simon Burn thank you very much Kind Sir !! The light was already fading when I arrived so no time to fly on this one :-(
You just know it is going to be a good day when the wellies go on. A question: When you blend one wave hitting two parts of the image do you just take them into Photoshop, add a mask and paint out half or do you have another approach?
Thanks Philip .. when I wear the waders it gets epic so:-) yes exactly that method is what I use but I didn’t actually do it in the end
I'm not a fan of seascape images where the water looks like clouds instead of moving water, the same with water fall images. Moving water should have detail and not be exposed so long that all detail is lost. I personally prefer one half second to one full second max to maintain some detail. Your last image was really good with plenty of detail, so without making me eat my own words, how long was the exposure? Thanks for sharing
Tony Blackwell Thanks Tony.. it can be too milky at the longest for sure .. 0.5 is my preferred speed and your bang on on the last image :-)
Did you focus stack the rocks in the foreground?
I don't think I did, It was a number of years ago tho :-) but which image are you referring to ?
Nice video, but terrible choice of music, sorry
John no bodder ... you’re right :-) thanks for taking the time to watch
