Great idea! But the house I rent has areas where rooms have two bagua areas together but one room. I can see how dividing the area in the video made complete sense, but how can you do that with say a living room which is one room? Would you position a large piece of furniture for separation like you mentioned a bookcase. In which the bookcase looks part of the living room but is a divider as well?

yes you can use the bookcase ( as long as it's solid-backed ) so it's part of the living room but also divides the room into 2 distinct area - remember it has to be minimum 6 ft tall AND at least half the width of the room

This is a great option. In my bedroom, I can only place my bed on the oppositie side of the doorway. Can I cover the doorway with a curtain? Would that be an option?

I'm glad it's giving you some ideas! BUT for bed placement you need a solid back so a curtain is not good enough. Either do a solid bookcase or a flat room divider
