Good job. I've had an WX5 for over many years, plus several other wind controllers. Also have the YDS-150. Not sure how this is any better? Kind of seems like a step backward? Not really sure, I do plan on getting some type of new wind controller since I'm not 100 percent happy with the YDS 150. I bought it so I could practice without hooking anything else up. Could somebody tell me what the advantages of this is over the WX5?
I agree with you that the YDS 150 cannot replace the WX 5, so keep the WX5, because it is the best wind controller and is intended for pro level, the Robkoo R1 is a good alternative option that is more modern but for decades of saxophone players it will be a little less comfortable and must adapt especially fingering in Ab and Eb notes with the R1 that is less comfortable, but if you are looking for an alternative wind controller that matches the WX 5 for its fingering and with modern features is Coolmusic S1 Wind Syntheziser and Controller. Or still use the WX5 but added with tools or accessories from the CME WIDI Jack, bluetooth MIDI that can be connected to WX5 and can be accepted by Mac, iOS (iphone & ipad), because I see that average the internal sound of the wind controller is not as good as on ipad or mac.

I can't understand what they were thinking when they made the YDS150. Mostly a step backwards!! i think maybe it is directed towards beginners.
Great! Very imformative and thorough look of R1's panel design. We also notice that the BGM sounds like R1's sound!
The soloist instruments in the background are indeed from the R1's great built-in music patch library! We used "Tenor Sax" and "Oboe.
