I’m so happy to hear that! I love suspenders, but if they’re not pretty, then u can’t really use them as an accessory. Just as a practical thing under your clothes. But they can add so much to an outfit if they match your style!

Hiya! Fellow vintage stitchess here. You are a delight to watch / listen to, and I frankly wish I had your wit and charm as a teenager. Definitely rooting for you and for this channel to grow, you clearly deserve it! The suspenders are a cute idea, and the embroidery stitch you used is often called "lazy daisy stitch". It can be quite effective with some french knots in the center to create texture and fill the space. Absolutely not wanting to be patronising here because my own sewing is quite often garbage fire, but some troubleshooting ideas for a next pair perhaps : for the ribbon not sitting right, I think a layer of interfacing could help stabilise the cotton tube and the slits for the ribbon. Also, in case you were gifted with god-like patience, you could cover the slits' raw edges in buttonhole stitch so that the ribbon lies flat and the slit doesn't stretch.

If my explanation helps at all, What you might've done wrong with your adjustable clip is putting it on second. I saw a pair of suspenders where the adjustable clip was sewn to the end and then the suspender bit that clips to your pants was put on second and in the crease of the fabric. I might be totally wrong but I think its somewhat right!
