@@AnonymousAffectionI'm actually wondering where Leon's backstory came from of why he became a cop I already know why cuz I've heard it I just don't know where it came from I don't know if it came from a game or a comic book
Resident Evil 2: 5:19 Leon busts open the door like a normal human being. Resident Evil 5: Chris Punches a boulder like he's a Greek God or Something. Anything is possible lol
It's definitely interesting looking at how this game has aged now that a proper remake of 2 has come out and how the remake honest to god seems to have borrowed certain aspects of the Darkside Chronicles, like the bloody darkness of the Licker hallway, or Claire and Leon just coming off as more horrified by the events surrounding them... Still can't help but wonder about a version of the 2 Remake that featured this type of artstyle and played closer to the remake of 1, even if the product we got kicks all kinds of ass.
@@2.0wen I wouldn't go that far about the story, but yeah, regardless of how fitting he'd sound for rookie Leon and everything, I really miss Paul Mercier and the overall look Leon had while he voiced him. That's Leon's iconic look IMO.
@@lolrus5555 I would, in the remake you and Claire just run into another in the lab, plus Annette had more character and you know William was after Sherry the entire time here instead of the remake hence the importance of Sherry she's more than just a little girl and that's why William was after her.
Lisa Ann Never really played RE2 during my childhood, so I'm not too familiar with that game. I'm more of a Resident Evil 3 fan. But overall, I did enjoy them retelling the events over with better graphics. But making this game a rail shooter is an overall disappointment. Why couldn't Capcom just make this like a regular Resident Evil game? I would have enjoyed it much more as just a regular remake instead of a rail shooter. Not being able to walk around and control yourself took out quite a bit of the fun.
yeah i know right? they should have just made it a first person shooter in my opinion. ^_^ and yeah i know it sucks not moving around lol also i just bought this game as well as the umbrella chronicles today. im gonna play umbrella first =)
Lisa Ann O that's Cool... Hope you enjoy them both. Umbrella Chronicles is okay but Darkside has the better improvements when it comes to shooting and some other mechanics. From the umbrella chronicles, I had a great time replaying through the mansions of the first game and running from Nemesis again. Overall though, both are very fun to play. Good thing is that Capcom is releasing the original Resident Evil remake from the gamecube to the current and previous generation of systems. It's a remaster but it should be a lot of fun as I never got to play the the remake of Resident Evil. Hopefully, they remake Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 as it would sell like crazy.
awesome, yeah im having fun with it but...i have a question. im using a regular wireless controller and i dont understand how to dodge, like what i mean is, it shows to shake the controller or use the left and right alaong stick, but the shaking controller makes me confused, because its not a playstation move controller on the screen, its a regular one. i cant seem to get the dodging down. im also playing co op with my boyfriend. could you tell me how dodging works in co op? ive tried looking it up but there doesnt seem to be anything useful.
clifton moore I'm not. You do realize this game gives you infinite bullets, right? They give you infinite amount due to you having to shoot things around you in order to get gold and other collectibles.
"Shh , there's something here !" *immediately starts shooting*
2:29
Leon : It's alright! The barricade is holding!
*player shoots barricade*
lmao
+Barricade2091 Lol.. I didn't even notice that I shot it.
***** I mean, the zombie probably would've busted through anyways but the way you shot it makes it look like you let the zombie in lol
AnonymousAffection lol u shot dat barricade XD

Ocean’s Bane. Its the same door that its not opening in re2 Classic
Leon: shh theres something here
Claire: *STARTS SHOOTING LIKE MANIC*
4:52 *SHOOTS AT SHERRY* Claire: is that. a girl? Hey wait
Seems like Claire has ADD. Automatic Ammo Diarrhea.

You can forget about fighting them, but they won’t forget about chasing you!
Watching because of resident evil 2 remake lol
Same it's interesting that you meet Marvin in the same location in both the Remake and DC.
The story here is way more linear and in my opinion better than the remake especially with Leon's voice actor being here

I like the part when always appears an enemy and they start a conversation...
Wish they would have made the gameplay look like the 4th game
...This game must be a real pain in the ass to play without any kind of wiimote/pointing device, huh?
It's so quite *multiple gunshots
Yeah, too quite....haha
resident evil 2 is one of my favorite resident evil games ever. so the fact that they redid the story is so awesome to me =)

5:14 wish you could do that in the original
This looks like fun
Only if it is breakable with bullets are when you can shoot it
1:35 leon says ssssh there is something here , then you start shooting , it would be funny if he looke to you and ,said are you stupid?
maybe this game is capable on PC?
How can the girl survive without guns?
why the hell are u wasting bullets
