I was making between $2500 and $2800 a week driving a little Hyundai Kona compact SUV, picking up Covid specimens and dropping them off at the lab. Around December 2022, all of that ended because virtually no one is testing anymore. Now, I’m working in a factory just to make ends meet. I wish I could find a company in the Cleveland Ohio area that could get me back up to 2500 to 2800 a week. There is a major medical courier company here in Cleveland but I would never work for them. I’m not carrying no meds for between $.59 a mile and $.68 a mile. Those poor couriers are getting ripped off so badly until this major company should be ashamed of themselves.

Tell us what company *not* to work for you mentioned; we could use the heads up. Or at least give us clues so we avoid them and tell us what companies may be good from your experience. Thank you.

@@reimourrpower9357 stay away from Priority Dispatch. $.59 a mile to $.68 a mile is flat out ridiculous for an independent contractor. I think they are the largest medical courier company in the United States. However, those rates are flat out insulting.

Delivering supplies is something I didnt think of. I retired from CVS pharmacy and didnt think about the couriers that delivered our drugs and supplies. That would be great for me and him both!

To be honest, more money will solve quite a few problems, lol. I'm focusing on financial literacy to that the more money doesn't become a problem.
I agree because most men from poor neighborhoods went to prison because they were doing illegal things to get money, or they did some type of crime related to that illegal cash business.
More money makes quality of life a lot better! Don't let nobody tell you it doesn't.

Glad to find you. I am currently in a contract with a medical courier company as daytime On-Demand driver m-f with a promaster city cargo van. I make about $5,000 a month in gross revenue. I recently added 1 gig app that increased my revenue by 10%. I'm looking for other income streams of about 5%-10% of that. I'll be looking for ways to scale up incrementally.

How many stops? That's the question. $183 -40 for gas is $140 for 6hrs of work. That's about $25 a hour not bad. But again how many stops and miles on the route.

Is there something outside of full time and staying flexible with a schedule that we should know in order to hit even close to this number. You said the more you stay with a schedule the less you make so should you be on boards and not trying to get a route with the co? When is it not beneficial to accept a contract?

Another courier professional said that it 8s a requirement for you to have/own your own personal vehicle to register to start working/driving as a medical courier...... is that the case, or can you rent a vehicle to start with (if you don't have your own personal vehicle), and then just switch it over once you are able to afford your own vehicle..?? For sure I think that’s the major threshold there’s a few prerequisites to tend before applying as a contractor effectively and legally… working on the groundwork for everything on mine.
