The first tea museum in Korea is called the o'sulloc tea museum. The name "o'sulloc" means "origin of souloc", "only souloc", "of souloccha", and "oh! souloc". It was established in September 2001 by Pacific (later renamed AmorePacific), which produces snowflake tea. It is located at the entrance of Seogwangdawon among Dosundawon, Hannamdawon, and Seogwangdawon in Seogwipo, which are operated by AmorePacific Co., Ltd. on Jeju Island.
The site area is approximately 8,100 square meters and the Yeongeonpyeong area is 1,540 square meters. It consists of a two-story observatory, a relic hall, and a multi-purpose building. In Jeju Island, I finished the appearance of a green tea cup with mukdol. Typical precious teacups made from the Gaya Dynasty to the Joseon Dynasty are displayed, and tea manufacturing processes and tea can be learned. The 240,000-pyeong tea plantation can be seen outdoors. The observatory overlooks Hallasan Mountain and the vast view of Da Won, while ponds and walking paths are built in the garden around the museum. The quiet walking course between green tea fields is also famous for lovers' walking paths.
The viewing hours are 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the summer season and 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the winter season between December and March. It is open throughout the year and admission is free. It is located in 1235-3 Seogwangseo-ri, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
