What are you reading for June?
For June, I’ve already read (twice) I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver. I’m currently reading The Thirty Names of Night by Zeyn Joukhadar. I’ve borrowed Witch King by Martha Wells as well as Peace Talks and The Aeronauts Windlass by Jim Butcher from my library.
I’m actually thinking about starting a reading journal if only to have one place to keep my book series tracker. I’m not sure if I want to create spreads for every book I read (I’ve already read 39 books so far this year and I’ve been known to read over 100 books in a good year), but maybe the 5-star reads would get a page/spread. If I put the series tracker in the beginning, I could just create bookcases and lists for each year.
I'm so glad you chose Rumpelstiltskin as a read for may, its one of my favorite fairy tales growing up. I don't know how many times i watched the 1985 cartoon (it's available on youtube and that makes me so happy). May was a great reading month for me, I found 4 new to me authors that I want to be reading more from.

I've just had my library reservation for Alien Clay by Adrian Tchaikovsky come available, so I'll be reading that. I'm also going to read Small Favors by Erin A Craig, The Three Secret Cities by Matthew Reilly, and Going Postal and Thud by Terry Pratchett. After that I'll see what I feel like reading 😊❤

Ohh I just discovered your reading videos. I love your notebook set up. Definitely going to add Grimm for my second half of the year reading when I set up my notebook for July. The first half of the year has been constant pivot after pivot and all my reading was derailed. The only book I've got slated for June is an educational philosophy book I've been trying to finish for a year. I'm keeping my firstborn that's the one that bakes me cookies 😂

I just started The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore, the governor of Maryland. Two guys with the same name whose lives were very different.
I just read the synopsis, and it sounds so poignant! You'll have to let me know what you think.
I love Robin Hobb, especially the Live Ship Traders series, naturally, because dragons 🐉. Totally 100% agree that her style of writing is slow. It makes the world and character building that much better, though.
The first trilogy is a great intro! I'm looking forward to Live Ship. I anticipate I'll get into it later this year.
I still haven't finished BuJo U quarter one read. I love the book but near the end I somehow stopped. And I've stopped everything. Since November last year I've been listening to Good Omens (not in English, in Czech, that's almost as my mother tongue - Slovak). I am somewhere in the middle maybe.
I don't know. This year started great for me in reading and listening but it didn't last for long.
BUT I am thinking about catching up with your Grimm year. Some day I'd like to do also your last year challenge. And maybe I'll do my own with Hemmingway.
I haven't finished The Happiness Trap either. It isn't that I didn't like it, but it was certainly the wrong timing to read it. And that's ok. Oooooh -- Hemingway!!
