Nick - I'm loving your vids, and amazed at how much knowledge you have. Would you consider doing a video to share how you became so knowledgeable about horticulture? Are you self taught? (If so, even more impressive!) Any websites, books, or FB pages you especially recommend? In any event, I'm thorougly enjoying your tutorials, as well as your keen sense of humor. Keep up the great work! (Jim B.)
You are absolutely brilliant! Such a good mix between a great sense of humour and informative videos! Don’t know why, but all the different placement of the vials had me laughing so much😂
Nick - thank you for bringing laughter into my life as it’s been pretty rough otherwise but your videos never cease to crack me up AND teach me something new 💖
I had absolutely no intention of making these propagation thingies but uhm, I’m so glad I stayed till the end cause I haven’t laughed that hard at a plant video.. ever.
I have fell in love with this, my mom had everything on the damn freg when I was growing up and I missed seeing that. This has 😅 brought back so many wonderful memories. I will be looking for all the materials thats needed to do this. And steal literally everything I can get my hands on at my friends house Thanks for the video.
What a great idea for propagating! It is elegant, and the light it captures is beautiful, an artful and efficient method, kudos! And I love LOVE your humor, I'll be watching, immersed in the factoids and fascinating plant knowledge you have, then you casually drop a sentence in the middle that makes me spit my coffee all over my keyboard cause I'm laughing so hard. (Keyboard? (yeah, this grandma has a old school PC)) Props in a washing machine... or dishwasher... you kill me! Love the refridgerator thought, and then you only have to glue the magnet on the glass bottle, no other prep needed. Really, its such a well thought out idea that works in so many ways! Thank you for your videos, I learn so much!!
Amazon sells little steel discs that you can fasten to your wall or other surfaces the same way you did the magnets, only a lot cheaper, so you only need to buy one magnet for each vial.
Thank you for this! I’ve been searching for a DIY damage free propagation station hack! I have a wall in my living room that gets a lot of good light above my couch. I didn’t want to put any shelves or crazy heavy hanging planters because I live in a place with frequent earthquakes 😬😬😬. This is perfect! I’ll be fixing this up on my next day off. I’m so excited!!
Love this video. Now I know how to display more plants. I mean the dryer trick is a life saver. 😁 kinda sad i got rid of the dishwasher now. Love your videos keep up the amazing work.
Loved the vanna white hands when demoing the wall haha but the last part was hilarious. I needed to laugh tonight and I knew you would be the one to get me out of this crappy mood so thx :)
Thank youuuu! So exited to have hit 250 about a week ago. Currently working on, and always working on something. Thank you so much for the support. Hope you’re doing well ☺️
have you tried using the velcro style command hooks? not actual velcro put works similarly and are advertised for hanging photos. I might give it a go with those
Excellent work, Nick! Just an idea to keep the caps out of the landfill... can you glue the cap (top facing you) between the bottle and the magnet? That way the ugly magnet won't show? I don't know how strong the magnet is, but judging by your comments, it may still work if the magnets are about 1/2" (estimate of cap height) apart. Other option is more decorative... tie (or glue) string to cap and wrap string around the bottle top threads. let the cap just hang off the side.
Again, recently found you. Loving your vidz big time. I've literally been looking for exactly what you just did. The best and hilarious ending. Just ordered online exactly what you just suggested 🌿❤😉
No, I was just demonstrating that the magnets must be facing in the right direction to attract each other. I put only one magnet on either side of the vial.
I need thisss my plants and propagations r all over my house Cuh I get no light in my room EXCEPT my bathroom and my parents get so mad but now I can put them in there😁
That ending... Now I need a new hammer. Also, I can finally keep my plants inside the dishwasher as you clearly advised in one of your other videos. I don't have a dryer, so unfortunately I can't keep my plants there...wait, does that mean that I shouldn't keep plants at all?!
I do everything on my own at home, so fixing a hole from a nail is not hard at all and als takes about 1 minute, nonetheless this is an amazing method :)
Why do you Americans have stoves with the knobs in the back? Don't you get yourselves burned while reaching across the pots with boiling soup or whatever to turn the stove off? I don't get that. Isn't it dangerous for kids to learn cooking that way, too? Oh, and speaking of safety, why would you hang a bottle of water just above a light switch or a socket? :D Love your videos, I have even started to rewatch every single one of them again. I am so into your humor!!! You're great, please never stop filming videos! ;D Cheers from Germany
Hmmmm... lets put it on drying machine! its working all the time - shaking will improve oxygen concentration in water!(?) Dont tell my husband Im getting in love with you (waiting fot❤hoya✂)
The "inconvenient places" bit was by far the most informational! I loved it haha
Thank you!
Holy crap the ending had me cackling, did not see that coming 😂
Your cuttings lived their most exciting lives just with this video! 🤭🤭🤭 Real talk though, I need to try these.
Haha. Let me know if you have any questions or run into any problems if you try them. 💚
The inconvenient places had me in tears, thank you LOL
Tysm :)
I'm a year late to watching this and wondering why this isn't absolutely vira?!! Pure genius!! So innovative!!

They can go anywhere!
Nick - thank you for bringing laughter into my life as it’s been pretty rough otherwise but your videos never cease to crack me up AND teach me something new 💖
no problem, even though these old videos are pretty tragic.
I had absolutely no intention of making these propagation thingies but uhm, I’m so glad I stayed till the end cause I haven’t laughed that hard at a plant video.. ever.
It was so fun watching you stick them to EVERYTHING. Great video. I will have to try this.
I’m sticking them to my grandmas hip replacement
This is really smart. It's genius using that little extra piece from the command hook and the magnet holder. You should patent this!
I think that command hooks are already patented unfortunately.
OMG. I rarely LOL when alone. Literally. I LOL at ending- especially using the dryer!
Thank you they’re currently rocking around in there 💚
FINALLY a DIY I can use in my apartment!! This really made my day. 😄🌱 I love your videos!
careful when removing the strips so you don't pull any pain off.
I agree with you about E6000😡You explained this idea clearly. Nice music, mellow voice.
Hate that packaging 😫

omg all the fridge magnets, it was a catch all for little notes, phone numbers and reminders.
🤣 I love this. The dryer 👍🏼

Tysm
Cool tutorial
Thank you :)
The more inconvenient, the better! 🤣
Exactly what I was going for :p
It's cute on the fridge
Thank you for being super detailed and clear with everything.
have you tried using the velcro style command hooks? not actual velcro put works similarly and are advertised for hanging photos. I might give it a go with those
As long as you fully mesh them together each time, although these are a pain in the butt to make, once they're there, they're there.
Oh man I watched for the cute diy, but holy flip I laughed so hard at the sticking them everywhere 🤣

14:25 i’m like ummm... i was literally lol that whole shpeel......
Thaaaanks :)
4:27 you show us how the magnets connect. Then at 4:35 you start gluing. Im confused did you leave those 2 piece magnets as one piece.
No, I was just demonstrating that the magnets must be facing in the right direction to attract each other. I put only one magnet on either side of the vial.
@@phytosexual Thank you! Btw could you do this with a glass thats bigger? For a plain wall?
I need thisss my plants and propagations r all over my house Cuh I get no light in my room EXCEPT my bathroom and my parents get so mad but now I can put them in there😁
Haha 😛
Hi Nick! Could you please link where you got the magnets? I've found similar online, but they all seem too chunky.
Ok you are funny and I’m not about to play with youuuu 😂😂😂❤❤❤
That ending...
Now I need a new hammer.

You could put it on your car and take it on a field trip.lol so funny, but great idea.
Love it!
Did I just watch the houseplant version of You Suck at Cooking?!
Super cute! I like the idea - better than the girl with the nails!! Lmao!!

Off to the geriatric ward to put them on people’s hip implants 🧲🏃🏻

Hmmmm... lets put it on drying machine! its working all the time - shaking will improve oxygen concentration in water!(?)
Dont tell my husband Im getting in love with you (waiting fot❤hoya✂)
You can have a Hoya bouquet at our wedding.
Holes are easy to fix with spackle, it would take two minutes and about fifty cents of supplies. Plus paint, ig
Lmfao
Haha thanks.
😂😂😂😂😂
why are you so beautiful
