Higher position will require 3-4 interviews 45 min ea. so with explanations and few examples it is easily 4+ hour video. We don't come here for entertainment so I personally would love longer videos and I can just pause if needed. More questions covered in this casual yet professional manner better - people need to see that interviewers are just regular people and it is just normal conversation with a stranger, especially now we can do interviews in the comfort of our home. Thank you for great content looking forward for more.
@@Codemify Agreed with the OP and look forward to watching this, having the videos divided into sections in the future would be greatly appreciated though :)
35:40 Was not bored, it's really interesting to hear and compare my answers. 2 years old video but still very valid. Would love to see more related videos for senior level. Interview question: What test strategy approach would you recommend and why for a start-up that has no idea about QA?
I found my first qa job in my country after watching your videos. Now after a year I’m applying to abroad jobs now I’m watching every video of you again. I appreciate a lot keep that amazing job going!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience, guys! The manual question Anton answered in the end was really helpful because even though I’m on my transition to automation, I still work mainly as manual QA. Also, you guys mentioned a few automation tools that I’m not aware of so it’s always nice to know the tools used in other countries too. Much respect! 🙌🏻
I have an interview tomorrow and watched this until the end, this was great. This is my first job in QA so any questions about Junior level would be awesome. Some fo this was further than I am in my journey but it still was extremely helpful and made me think more about the answers I hope to give. Great work!
Thanks for the information and sharing it with us. The only thing: “Lets not talk about automation” and the whole video was about this. It will be great to see the video for Junior QA position. I guess it will be very helpful for a lot of people.
im also from Ukraine ,come in US one year ago and get the QA Enjenier course sooo....on the next week i have last class and i will be try go someware,i wish i find something, thx for lesson)
Good job guys! Suggestion: Why not for the future videos show how write a good test case step by step. In another one, how to write a nice test plan, so forth....
Very nice video, even though i didn't need any of it, i just wanted to hear pros talk about QA stuff since i am a Senior QA video game tester and just got onboarded on a much larger project than the one i was on and i'm getting a git of the impostor syndrome, bit anxious even though everything's going smoothly, everyone's nice. One thing that really feels awkward is how nervous some testers look when they talk to me, like i was intimidating even though they're the ones who know what they're doing on the project.
That's a good point. Usually, when you join another project/company and you have more Junior people they are afraid of you as you will take their jobs. It's not logical but it happens very often. It's just a matter of time before they will get comfortable with you. But you can also speed up this process by offering them help and just being super nice to them
Thank you guys for doing this video, it's really helpful. At first, I guess I'm gonna get bored but no, I keep listening and taking notes LOL. Thanks again
Hey, awesome video. Thank you! About duration you can as long as want we will watch no matter what. But it’s of course up to you. Could you make more videos about QA automation position or when you trying to get your first job?
Good information all around. Helpful to get information from different perspectives. I agree with everything that was said and have run into the same questions in my experience as well.
Correct. Some company might consider some question an entry level, the other might consider it mid level. Throughout my experience I’ve seen Juniors getting senior positions and seniors getting Junior positions. It all depends on a day, mood, economy, and mainly on the position of our planet against the Mars 🙃
Thanks a lot! It was very interesting interview. I would like to see more videos like that. Especially about manual and API testing for juniors. Glory to Ukraine!
Great video! I’m still in the process of learning the only thing that scares me is my english level. Tought u were a native speaker at the beginning. I’m going to apply for some positions soon and im afraid to get stuck during the interview tbh D:

i just went through ur video fr the first time in ur channel, i have 3 yrs of qa manula tesign exp , i might have interview in few days, i always lag on choosing words and speak fluently by ecplaining things though i know the subject , how to deal with such situations during interview , can u please help ?
@@Codemify one more question cuz I have a situation rn :) would it be better for my professional experience to work in a startup which has loads of work (80% manual testing 20% automation) or to work in a world known and established company in my country(but doesn’t have as much work)? What would be better for my experience like what would employers in usa like more?
It's an interesting question! Both options have it's benefits: 1. Startup - you get a lot of experience which you can mention in your resume and also during the interview. Which will help you to be found by keywords in linkedin and will sell you during the actual interview 2. Enterprise - The name itself will bring attention. So recruiters will be reaching out to you just because you worked there. My personal decision would be startup as I like to do a lot and to learn a lot :) I hope you will make the decision that will keep you happy in the future!

Hi YBC, India is one of the biggest IT markets in the world at the moment. You could try to hit both US and India markets simultaneously to increase your chances
At the moment it's more challenging to find a job as a junior vs mid. But it's always possible if you try different methods and learn from your experience ❤
hahaha We have American students as well. But mostly they are eastern europeans. For the reason that most Americans don't believe into fast career change. We do have people from Brazil, Australia, Africa, Turkey etc. See other videos :)
