Thanks for the review. So I bought the kastking a month ago, I can say it is really good, planning on grabbing a few more. I got the 3000, it’s super smooth, and tough.

What type of line and pound test are you using on these reels

I have a 7ft uglystick medium and can't cast on this silvermax more than 30ft. The line practically explodes upon casting, coming off extremely rough and choppy. Hopefully it is just my line.
What size Silvermax? I’m willing to bet your throwing too heavy a line. I had same issue trying to throw 8lb mono from a 2000 series
Ugly stix are the worst casting rods I've ever bought ..the eyes are to small.
@@brianlocal3 Aren't 2000 series reels rated for 8 pound line?
@@desertrainfrog1691 yes it it. But for whatever reason it will not throw a pound mono. I’m lucky that it goes out 10 feet
I do fish more of the Charlie Brewer slider fishing tactics typically so I use a lot of four and 6 pound anyways
@@brianlocal3 Ah, alright. Personally I run 12 pound mono on a 4000 size reel and it works fine, but that reel is big. That line is so thick, it sounds like plastic wrap crinkling as it gets reeled in.
Abu is best for me and both of them are set up for righty
