COLORADO TRAIL Segment 1 & 2 | Ep 1 | Buffalo Creek to Waterton Canyon | Colorado Mountain Biking

- This is episode 1 of the Colorado Trail, Colorado, USA Mountain Biking adventure. The plan is to ride as much of the Colorado Trail by segments. On this episode, the video will showcase the ride starting at Buffalo Creek (Little Scraggy Trailhead) and ending at Waterton Canyon Trailhead. The ride was full of flow, some tech at the bottom of seg 1, creek crossings, and views for days! This trip took some logistical effort thanks to Brad (@Brad A) and his son, Zack (@Wizecat). We dropped off one vehicle at Waterton Canyon and then shuttled to Buffalo Creek where we started our ride. This allowed us to ride only in one direction. MORE COLORADO TRAIL VIDEOS COMING!

Sorry. I said “16 miles of riding”…it was actually 27 miles of riding (CT seg 1 and 2).

Outstanding video of CT Seg 1&2 !! I really enjoy watching your videos, it keeps me in touch with MTBing even tho I'm not presently riding. I'm booked with M/C repairs into July, it's a busy season for me and I'm glad for that. Got the 1/2 mile trail here on the land that I'm starting to ride on again, times that by 10 makes 5 miles LoL !!! Keep those vid's coming man !!!! Take Care & Ride Safe !!!

Unfortunately, I didn’t. I’m planning to go when I get back from my work trip mid aug. I’m craving the bike park bad. I might give it a try in Virginia and rent a bike.

@@DavePFilms I was there on opening weekend. Got to meet Heather Munive (MTB UA-camr) so that was cool. I took my gopro and thought I was recording the full day but turns out I was just turning it off and on with out recording lol Epic fail! but it was still a lot of fun anyway haha
@@chinlomane that’s great! She’s seems really cool. Oh man I did that with my GoPro a few times on the trail. I press record and start riding but in reality I stopped the recording thinking it wasn’t recording. I always check the front screen now to ensure the timer is going up or the red light is blinking. I feel your pain but at least you go to ride. That matters the most.
What kind of bike are you riding?
I’m riding a 2014 Specialized Camber Evo 29. I repainted it and replaced all the components with the exception of the cranks. It’s been a great bike so far.
