I know this is Belle's theme, but I think of it more as a Rumbelle theme, really, because as someone else stated below, they play it almost every time they're in a scene together. :)
it's just that every song has their own story, and that whats it makes it beautiful. It's so perfect as every character is. When I hear those songs, there's glowing a light in my heart :)
I consider this more of Rumbelle's love theme( I heart them) since they play it in practically all their scenes although techniquely it's Belle's theme. IA it truly is a beautiful piece of music.
My favorite song from the show. This feels like the perfect audio counterpart to the chipped cup. It expresses this delicate wonderment of both characters falling in (romantic) love for the first time. belle is curious and beautiful, optimistic, and maybe a bit naive. She is trying to bring out the gentle man behind a monster. Rumple has been burned badly by love having given up everything for his son and lost him anyway (not to mention his parents abandoning him and his first wife abusing him). He’s skittish about falling in love and doesn’t believe it is possible for him to love anyone or anyone to love him. So the end result is this graceful and careful piece in which it feels like someone is handling something very delicate and fragile (like a chipped teacup!) and they desperately don’t want to break it. Its the way she is very careful and gentle with him and he is skittish and awkward with her. It’s not a big fan fair with loud noise and fireworks. It’s really cautious and simple. I just love how perfectly this song describes their ship. It’s not easy you have to be gentle with it and appreciate it’s delicacy. It’s not in this video but there are some scenes where there is a bunch of notes descending quickly in order which gives the impression of something shattering. It’s in the scene when rumple pours the shattered cup out in front of Lacey at the end of season 2. I just love what they do with this song and how it can change to match the scene
It was every time we saw Belle's past, only that every time we see Belle's past at 90% there was also Rumple, I remember that it was also used in an episode dedicated to her and Gaston,

even her music is lovable!
The first season of this show was truly magical. After that it never had the same feeling but still...
Rumbelle's the reason I started watching the show. If it hadn't been for their love story, I might have never fallen in love with this wonderful show!
Its easier to hate the dark one then it is to love one.

After the hell that Rumple and Belle have gone through, I REALLY hope that they finally get their happy ending! If anyone deserves it, it's them.
Wesley Molt well, now they do:)
