"Pizza Tower has as much interest in telling a story as Papa John's has in making good pizza." Oh, come on, that's entirely unfair. There is *some* story to Pizza Tower.
It feels like not a lot of people are pointing out that this is the 69th episode, and the sprite of Peppino used in the thumbnail is the "THAT'S THE ONE, OFFICER!" judgement that's achieved at 69% completion
It’s a general one for a certain range, and honestly for the level of performance it occurs for, it’s kinda baffling. The issue arises in that originally some ranks were given out in social circumstances, and the “that’s the one, officer!” rank was for hurting Peppino a lot.
@@murilosampaio1264I mean if by "better income" it means Toppins collected because of money system and by "better education" it means "knowledge on where everything is and Peppino's moveset", then yes. /s There's 2 certain ranks that are considered the highest of tiers: a rank that is given if you beat the game under 2 hours, and another rank if you manage to 100% the game while beating it in under 4 hours. For the record, this would mean getting at least S rank, all secrets, all Toppins, and the Treasure. P ranks are basically S ranks coated in purple because you kept the combo going. Getting all S ranks makes it 100%, meanwhile getting all P ranks makes it 101%.
"Alright, Let's see how this middle-aged Italian man handles." "Actually he can't "Handle" anymore." Congratulations Bumbles, You have managed to summarise Peppino, The story and Pizza tower in general in two sentences.
I’ve never played Pizza Tower, but I’m hoping I will soon. Provided that all the insanity that this game has doesn’t overload my brain with a seizure first. That’s a joke, I’m gonna be ok. Just amused by all the crazy nonsense this game has.
@@ariannadravis3934I'm a completionist and let me tell you, being a completionist while also being god awful at Pizza Tower hurts the soul. I have all the toppins. I have all the secret treasures. But the game still taunts me with all those A ranks. Almost like the game is laughing at me.
Also, in terms of this game's animation, can I note how Peppino has a full emotional range in the 4 second long build up to the final boss? He spots his place in the distance and looks dejectedly at it, gets scared when the boss looms down before him, and that fear gives way to shrieking rage as he prepares to throw down not just to save his business but as payback for all the shit he’s put up with the whole game. A full character arc conveyed through some damn good sprite work.
One of the most lovable things about Pizza Tower (atleast for me) is how Peppino really embodies the player, from his panicking idle during Pizza Time, to his absolute MANIC DANCE OF RAGE during his high combos in a P-Rank run, Plus it's entirely justified in the plot, man really just had his Pizza restaraunt threatened BY a pizza, his many panic attacks during his voyage through the Tower is understandable.
Piece of advice for prospective players: When it comes to bomb goblins, or any other enemy with an attack you want to utilize for puzzle solving: They'll attack immediately if you use the taunt. Very useful for if you're trying to get those P ranks.
This also triggers the alarm immediately on Don't Make A Sound if you're already on the countdown. Lets you skip waiting for the countdown so you can get going
Fun fact about The Noise: During his first phase (Obviously) you see two Noiselings (I forgor the names so I'm winning it with the name), one with a camera, another with a mic, but when phase 2 comes around, the balloon knocks them away, and said phase is where The Noise also uses his upgraded moves which are more lethal, why he uses these NOW? It's because the Noiselings were recording his fight for Noise TV, and when they got knocked away, that basically meant he was "Off air" and could resort to more lethal and deadly stuff

Went through most of the video sort of imagining your sort of tierlist for the levels, so it was both surprising and cathartic to actually see it before the Pizza Face boss fight. Though you're now legally a madman for making the tiers A to E and not S + A to D.
To me, S tier is just a way to make two A tiers. I think it's more interesting if you make B tier actually mean something instead of A and S being the only tiers that really matter. And if you start going S+ or SSS then you've failed as a list maker

Going through every single one of these masterfully designed levels to discuss and deconstruct it is just amazing, and this game doesn't deserve any less. After learning each one to its fullest for my own P-ranks, it feels amazing to revel in my knowledge and appreciation for the game with someone else's discussion.
My favourite thing about pizza tower is the fact that this game just oozes love. This was a passion project and it screams that. This is what I look for in games, where you can tell the devs had a blast when making it.
I think all floors have specific theme like Floor 1- ancient stuff like dungeons,castles,greek/roman ruins and sweden Floor 2- is of course old west theme Floor 3- is vacations and movies of course, like a beach full of pirates, a magical forest, space and aliens and action movies Floor 4- is basically gross and dirty stuff like a sewer, a factory, a city and a full freezer Floor 5- is scary stuff like war, fnaf and halloween/ghosthunting
Hearing you sing praises for "Golf" out of all stages is weird but you made a good point. Also I know the card transition being Metaphys because they're your favorite archetype and fitting because Pizza Tower is that great, but I'd just like to think you're saying these dragons are Italians.
i am so glad you gave war the most praise you possibly could. it is easily my favorite level, the first one i p-ranked and the music is way too good. it is worthy of being the final level. i also agree that p-rank vigilante is satan's worst nightmare.
I've been waiting for this video ever since you P-Ranked the four main bosses of Pizza Tower, and suffice to say you never fail to amaze us with your hilarious charm and witty commentary! Keep up the good work, Mr. McFumbles! 👍😁
Oh yeah, it's a 9/10 game at least. If anyone reading this somehow wasn't convinced by the talent here, it's an absolute masterwork that everyone should play, at least casually.
NOW I'm watching on Christmas. Gotta give us a little time! Though I made sure not to watch it on Turbo Christmas, wouldn't want to associate the two completely separate holidays.
1:11:34 or 1:11:35 "Peppino's finally had enough, the entire game has been pushing an Italian Man into a corner and it's finally time for him to explode." Best line ever.
Starting the game, i never thought I could get more than a single p rank. I got every achievement a month later. Brutal as it was, it was an incredible sensation.
Vigilante is my arguably my favorite boss next to the final one: the music, the sheer pandemonium, Peppino wielding a f***in' six-shooter, it's anxiety on a whole other level in a good way. I also like to P-Rank him casually, as he's the one boss I've done so more than once.
This episode is amazing man. It's clear how much work you put into it, and this is honestly the BEST review of this game on UA-cam (currently). Keep it up man!
14:00 If you taunt in front of an enemy, you can make it do it's action immediately. So for the goblins, if you taunt in front of them, they will instantly throw a bomb. This applies for every enemy in the game, which is a lifesaver for the chicken wing dude in Oregano Desert or the alarm in Don't Make a Sound.
As someone who's been obsessed with pizza tower for years, absolutely amazing review! Perfectly tackles all of the strengths, weaknesses, and fun little quirks in the game. Overall I really enjoyed the format of this review (or honestly just your reviews in general tbh), listening to you go through every level individually and explain what you thought about them was quite fun :]
Real talk, this was my birth week, and for as much hype as there was leading up to it, it was pretty ho-hum. Watching this video changed all of that, though. Thank you so much for the hard work, my dude- take a pizza break. You earned it!
amazing video on what i feel like may end up being my GOTY for 2023, the game's just a blast i do hope you end up posting your song tierlist tho, i'd really be interested in knowing at least your top 10

i have watched this video like 5 or 6 times since it released. one of my favorite youtubers covering one of my favorite games in one of my favorite styles? recipe for an instant comfort video. love the stuff dude, keep it up!
Fully completing Pizza Tower is one of the most satisfying things I could've felt. It was so satisfying I did it thrice. 101 percent. Both approval stamps. All three saves.
if i had a nickel for every indie game with a combo/style system that blew up across the internet i would have 2 nickels which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice
Idk why I love this video so much within the last 2 weeks I swear I've watched it at least 20 times Ig its just nice to hear a comprehensive review of a game I love going over everything, good and bad, in a clear but entertaining way while not dragging out sections for no reason. This video feels so clean and there is so little that I think could be removed without lessening the experience. It's just such a good video on a phenomenal game that keeps me coming back. Bumbles gets a round of applause from me for this video, fantastically done 👏
I also like the fact when you defeat a boss for the first time the achievement has their skull on it. [Note the vigilante and fake peppino are exceptions]
Bumbles, you're actually the reason I got into Pizza Tower! I saw you P-Rank the first 4 bosses and was like 'oh this game looks dope'. And now I'm addicted to speedruns of the game. Thanks boss!
When the noise gets drug off stage after his fight, you here an audible damage sound once he's off screen. I find the idea that noisette snapped his neck off screen hilarious
Great to see a fellow Deep Dish 9 Enthusiast. One of the best gaming experiences in my life was playing and P-Ranking worlds 3-5 of this game, but especially that level and Pizzascare are my favorites. The reason I love Pizzascare so much besides the incredible Castlevania aesthetic is because of how difficult it is to P-Rank (the hardest in the game), and the insanely good flow you get after mastering it which the gimmicks really lend to. The ghosts and king ghost really screw you up if you’re slow, but if you’re fast you can literally run past everything and the difficult layout makes it feel really rewarding. The whole game is like this, but the huge difference between how clunky Pizzascare is when you first play the level and how smooth it is after you master it really makes it stand out for me. The better you get at the stage, the better it flows, and by the time I finally P-Ranked it, it had the best flow in the entire game. You can really _feel_ the difference between when you normally beat it and when you P-Rank it. This is also present on Oh Shit! and Peppibot Factory, which made them all feel very rewarding to master as well, but the biggest gap in clunkiness is definitely Pizzascare. Probably wouldn’t have called it my favorite when I first played it, though. Meanwhile, Deep Dish 9 is Deep Dish 9, not sure which stage I like more. This stage and Deep Dish 9 also have the best music tracks in the game alongside Unexpectancy and Bye Bye There, they’re all kinda equal for me
WAR is hands down one of the best things I’ve ever played in any video game. it’s flow is so immaculate that I I’ve spent actual hours playing it going for a flawless run
This video got me to try pizza tower, and I’m very thankful this did. Because oh my god this is my new favourite of all time and the previous holder of that crown (a hat in time) isn’t even close to pizza tower. This game is incredible
this doubles as a game review and a article about the perfection of pizza tower. The long watch time is not really that long once you get hooked into the video. The voice narrating this and the jokes are perfect and the editing is on point. 10/10 game review better than ign!

damn he really killed snotty. i just like the part where he said "Play baseball like a good dad". it's just so funny with the voice crack.
“Oh no it’s the sheriff” had me dying
When bumbles hits you with a pizza tower vid, that’s how u know it’s a good day
Went through most of the video sort of imagining your sort of tierlist for the levels, so it was both surprising and cathartic to actually see it before the Pizza Face boss fight.
@@bumblesmcfumbles Wasn't expecting an actual response, but, fair enough. And, yeah, always preferred sticking to just S at the top, nothing really beyond that.
@@bumblesmcfumbleswhat if s and sss are used as gag tiers that exaggerate something’s actual quality for the sake of comedy?
@@basketbomberslackingson4417i'm not saying much, but when it comes to the official community salad tier list, the noise should be in super ultimate sss+ mk5 director's cut edition

Thank you Bumbles for doing all of these incredibly documentaries! First we got the christening of Tony the Hawk, than the real Shaq life story and now the life of an Italian Man!
Also The Wacky Misadventures of Wanted Criminal Yuji Naka
"be sure to give that cashier a big tip! LIKE MOVE." still my favorite bit in the video
absolutely love the detail of you putting the edited Thousand March mix that adds the timer sfx over war. that entire level and song is embedded into my brain along with the rest of this game
Going through every single one of these masterfully designed levels to discuss and deconstruct it is just amazing, and this game doesn't deserve any less. After learning each one to its fullest for my own P-ranks, it feels amazing to revel in my knowledge and appreciation for the game with someone else's discussion.
My face lit up finally seeing the notification for it. You’ve got no idea how excited I am to see this.
My favourite thing about pizza tower is the fact that this game just oozes love. This was a passion project and it screams that. This is what I look for in games, where you can tell the devs had a blast when making it.
YESSSS LETS GOOO!!! Honestly after all the work you put into this I think you deserve a break, even if it’s for a short amount of time

Another absolute banger. Sorry you had to put up with all the hurdles, but it was such a delight!
I will never get used to that Yu-Gi-Oh card transition. It will always catch me off guard because I am never expecting it.
This video is too good, I’ve rewatched it at least 7 times, please stop making content this good. I literally can’t stop watching it…
Why are you asking him to stop making content you absolutely adore
I watched it at least 11 times
I think all floors have specific theme like
Floor 1- ancient stuff like dungeons,castles,greek/roman ruins and sweden
Floor 2- is of course old west theme
Floor 3- is vacations and movies of course, like a beach full of pirates, a magical forest, space and aliens and action movies
Floor 4- is basically gross and dirty stuff like a sewer, a factory, a city and a full freezer
Floor 5- is scary stuff like war, fnaf and halloween/ghosthunting
Waiting for Peppino to be invited to the next Bumbles McRumbles
Hed kill everyone through his terrified rage
Hearing you sing praises for "Golf" out of all stages is weird but you made a good point.
Also I know the card transition being Metaphys because they're your favorite archetype and fitting because Pizza Tower is that great,
but I'd just like to think you're saying these dragons are Italians.
This is the QUITESSENTIAL Bumble McFumbles video, and game review video absolutly perfect!
“P ranking vigilante was my most miserable experience in the game!”
Me who accidentally p ranked him in my first play through
“Get good”
i am so glad you gave war the most praise you possibly could. it is easily my favorite level, the first one i p-ranked and the music is way too good. it is worthy of being the final level.
i also agree that p-rank vigilante is satan's worst nightmare.
Wars secret music is so good
The bit where you randomly brought up Snotty made me cackle so loud. Literal genius timing.
I've been waiting for this video ever since you P-Ranked the four main bosses of Pizza Tower, and suffice to say you never fail to amaze us with your hilarious charm and witty commentary!
Keep up the good work, Mr. McFumbles! 👍😁
Getting 100% on the game and then not feeling like I played enough is what made me realize that this is one of my top games of all time
Oh yeah, it's a 9/10 game at least. If anyone reading this somehow wasn't convinced by the talent here, it's an absolute masterwork that everyone should play, at least casually.

"You're all watching this at Christmas, right?"
Well, I currently am, at least!
I have watched this video so many goddamned times. Whenever I see it in my recommended it enraptures me like a sirens call and I watch it again.
My new favourite youtuber that I discovered this year talking about my undeniable GOTY?
Truly a blessing. Thank you Jack.
Jack: Deep Dish 9 is my favorite level
Also Jack: puts War above Deep Dish 9 in his ranking
It seems that Deep Dish 9 is his favorite level design wise, while War is sheer adrenaline and fun.
I swear, it is now a legal requirement for episode 69 of anything to be special
25, 50, 96, 75 & 100 are all milestones for any and all
14:00 If you taunt in front of an enemy, you can make it do it's action immediately.
You earned it!
amazing video on what i feel like may end up being my GOTY for 2023, the game's just a blast
i do hope you end up posting your song tierlist tho, i'd really be interested in knowing at least your top 10
after P-ranking the final boss, i literally had such adrenaline running through my body i just belted out, in a nearly flawless impression of King Dedede from Kirby Right Back At Ya, *"HEH HEH HEH! I AM A SUPAH STAAAAAH WARRIAH!!!"*
Gotta love how he never even mentions that if you get hit to much during the boss you lose.
Pretty sure he does though when he’s talking about Pepperman???
He needed the time to tell us he killed Snotty.
Here watching in november.

THE HOUR-LONG PIZZA TOWER SPECIAL
i have watched this video like 5 or 6 times since it released. one of my favorite youtubers covering one of my favorite games in one of my favorite styles? recipe for an instant comfort video. love the stuff dude, keep it up!
*Whats funnier is that originally the final pizzahead fight was basically peppino fighting someone equal in unbridled anger as himself.*
I like like how this popped up in my notifications as I'm making a homemade pizza
Peppino's movement is like YTP's took on a human shape.
It really does, doesn’t it? Now I see him doing classic memes lmao
He references a good few in his taunts. @@Multi_fandom_man
This review is genuinely just so fun to listen to, I keep coming back
Fully completing Pizza Tower is one of the most satisfying things I could've felt.
It was so satisfying I did it thrice.
101 percent. Both approval stamps. All three saves.
if i had a nickel for every indie game with a combo/style system that blew up across the internet i would have 2 nickels which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice
What was the other one?
Am I the only one who thought the P in P Rank stood for Pizza?
I thought it meant pepino rank
Isn't it just "P" Rank? Like, the P doesn't mean anything, it just spells out Prank?
@@DefRevenge24601Perfect rank
Idk why I love this video so much within the last 2 weeks I swear I've watched it at least 20 times
Ig its just nice to hear a comprehensive review of a game I love going over everything, good and bad, in a clear but entertaining way while not dragging out sections for no reason. This video feels so clean and there is so little that I think could be removed without lessening the experience. It's just such a good video on a phenomenal game that keeps me coming back. Bumbles gets a round of applause from me for this video, fantastically done 👏
As a particular fan of ol' Vigi, I was just a little bit pleased to hear the little rant about his P Rank, heh.
Glad I'm not the only person going on a pizza tower kick 6 months late!
PIZZA MAN! YOU HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED!
Man bringing up Snotty like he was nothing, YOU MONSTER!
I also like the fact when you defeat a boss for the first time the achievement has their skull on it. [Note the vigilante and fake peppino are exceptions]
Fake peppino aswell.
@@beaniewearingbastard3125 Oh yeah thanks for that too.
Bumbles, you're actually the reason I got into Pizza Tower! I saw you P-Rank the first 4 bosses and was like 'oh this game looks dope'. And now I'm addicted to speedruns of the game. Thanks boss!
yes i am watching on christmas, thanks for asking :)
I pulled up this video to watch while eating some Papa John's pizza... and that intro was oddly perfect for my situation.
now time to rank which pizza tower characters commited the most warcrimes
since pizza head had boxing gloves in one of his attacks, its time to figure out just how many infractions he's getting
When the noise gets drug off stage after his fight, you here an audible damage sound once he's off screen.
I find the idea that noisette snapped his neck off screen hilarious
0:00 HUGE missed opportunity to put the taunt SFX.
P-Rank is such a clever idea. If you want to completely perfect a level and get bragging rights, then go for a P-Rank, but it isn't required

Bud, we’re gamers. None of us are normal.
This game is incredible
clearing my entire schedule for this 🔥🔥🔥
this doubles as a game review and a article about the perfection of pizza tower. The long watch time is not really that long once you get hooked into the video. The voice narrating this and the jokes are perfect and the editing is on point. 10/10 game review better than ign!
well if you wanted to play as pepperman there is a mod being made at the moment called "pizza tower the full course" I really recommend it!
