When this game came out in 2005, I literally cried of joy in the thoughts of having it. It was that magical. It was, in my not so humble opinion, the golden age of Star Wars. We had all 6 movies completed, we had amazing EU stuff in the like of the NJO novels, games like KOTOR, KOTOR II, Empire at War was announced, and more. Man, what a time it was to be a SW fan...

I remember playing this mission for the first time in 05, and the LAAT gunship shot me down when I was playing as Mundi for no reason. I thought they were executing order 66 without me even knowing it at the time.
Either it was a glitch or you got in the way while they were shooting at droids.
Good soldiers follow orders.
Imagine what this battlefront would look like with the 2010 graphics....
God, this game still looks amazing. And the gameplay is so great, and the campaign and the options of characters you can play as. Not to mention the amazing multiplayer. I wish they would have continued with a third game, and I wish they would remaster this and the first one, and bring it on new gen consoles. I would buy that immediately.

Definitely better than Battlefront 2 2017. I wish Disney would have someone (other than E.A.) to remaster this.

Battlefront 1 is still better than that shit. At least there was a balance. There is no balance in the second Battlefront. This is expressed in the fact that on many maps separatists and rebels have an unfair advantage, which significantly complicates life, if you play for the Empire or the Republic. In addition, the award-winning weapon, which is incredibly powerful, and when reaching the legendary level, replaces the standard one, which in my opinion will completely ruin the game. Especially if you play as a sniper, because the sniper rifle is replaced by an absolutely useless beam rifle, which is effective only in close combat.

The 2005 version is worse in terms of balance on many maps, where separatists and rebels have an unfair advantage, such as shorter routes to command posts, or more powerful armored vehicles. In addition, in the first Battlefront, command posts had names like Redoubt, Platforms, Spire, and so on. In Battlefront 2, command posts have no names, which is often confusing when the announcer reports that we have lost the command post. What command post, where - is unknown.
Am i the only one who would have LOVED to see THIS BATTLE AND SO MANY OTHERS LIKE IT with other Jedi fighting so many battles on different remote worlds. I LOVE Ki Audi Mundi so much despite his small role and would love either a series about him or another series like The Clone War's that focuses on the conflicts but every few episodes or every season shifts on a background Jedi from the prequels or new character.

Why do droids explode wouldnt they just drop?
They do sometimes in the game. I wished they dropped more than they exploded though.
It’s Gundam rules. Machines always explode when critically damaged.

Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well :) I know I've already done a playthrough of the Battlefront 2 campaign, but I thought I'd test out my laptop and try to do these videos again but in better quality than before :) When I've finished the campaign, I will showcase some amazing mods and maps for this game created by the awesome Battlefront 2 community.

The campaign in the first Battlefront was much better. There it was possible to play for the Confederation, Republic, Empire and rebels. Here we play only for the Empire, which I personally consider a huge minus. Well, the missions themselves suck ass in terms of design.
