for me each one of them has their benefits, but the sacha inchi gives me the best overall result, combining moisture, definition, and slip. the other three give me moisture, but not a lot of slip. my favorite scent would be the super fruit, then sacha inchi, then coconut hibiscus, then jbco.
Great breakdown of all the smoothies. You make me want to re-try the curl enhancing smoothie. It provided me with a lot of moisture but it made my hair frizzy too. And no gel that I tried with it seemed to be able to get the frizz under control. But it's been a few years and I might be willing for a re-test. Plus, I might be able to live with the frizz for a bit, to gain the moisture benefits.
I actually have been retrying the curl enhancing smoothie for about a week and a half (only amazon.com enticed me to get the big 16 oz. jar, lol). And I'm not sure what's different but I have been really enjoying it this time around and not getting the same frizziness issues. I've even been having success using it by itself with no other products layered on. And I always layer my products normally. But this smoothie is so thick and moisturizing I wanted to see if I could skip the leave-in and oil/butter. So far, so good. Thanks again for doing this review and inspiring me to give it another go.
Great video!! Do you think the JBCO Smoothie is better than the Coconut & Hibiscus one for coarse (3c) hair with a heat damage since thats what it claims its for? Shine/moisture/hold are important to me so I'm torn between the two
Thank you thank you thank you for making this video. I've been looking at this products for a while now, and since I'm a bit of a product junkie who's trying to control herself this video is awesome. I have fine to medium hair and the curl enhancing smoothie is too heavy for my hair. Which one would you recommend? Keep up the good work!
Loved this video and would love to see a review of the multivitamin because that is one of my faves for wash and go's on my fine dense hair. What is your porosity, density and strand size btw?
Great review! I’ve watched a lot of the Sacha inchi vs curl enhancing reviews. Most people said that curl is better for thicker hair and sacha is better for thin hair! Although I am yet to see a review of how it looks the next couple of days. Most people said it gives the same results look wise and that is what you said about how it looked on the day! You’ve just saved me some pennies!
Shea Moisture products tend to leave my hair oily, but not very moisturized. A day or two after using the Curl Enhancing Smoothie, my hair gets so tangled. I do not seem to have the problem with products with other brands. I do not know if I want to continue purchasing their products, except for the deep treatment masques, which I tend to have luck with. The rest of their stuff is not worth the money to me. : (
+RL B I do know some people have a love/ hate relationship with the Curl enhancing smoothie 😔. My hair loves it, but it works best when I switch it up and use other products as well
Love ❤️ your energy Think I'm your 1k subscriber! Not sure if you've done this already but I would love to see you do a brand versus brand to see if saw one is a better bang for our buck or if the less expensive brand works just as well as the more expensive brand..,
Hi I love your clips..you give very informative suggestions and i love your spirit. I am 5 months post transitioning dealing with dry new growth...and as of now i am high porosity..which smoothie would you recommend for rod sets and twist outs? Thanks.
Absolutely love the coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie it keeps my hair super moisturized and super defined. I love the smell and thickness of the product. I have very dry, frizzy, thick, coarse, 3c/4a hair so it does wonders for my curls. Plus the price of the smoothie has gone down at Walmart it's now $9.58 instead of like $12.
JBCO Smoothie is perfect for flat ironing / any 🔥 styles...Do not wash out! It surprised me..I will buy again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Lightly Dip oil with cotton @ roots & in ends of hair after heat..Your hair style will be on fleek. Style as desired.

I'm currently using the jbco smoothie and I I love it!
Sameee
My hair loves the JBCO more than the Coconut Hibiscus snoothie... My hair isnt a big fan of coconut products but loves castor oil based products.

I love the smell of the JBCO line too! I thought it was just me ☺ but Coconut and Hibiscus is definitely the best 😍 smell!
I enjoy the smell too. At first wiff, I smell playdo but then it turns into a warm caramel vanilla smell that smells so good.

Retry it and let me know how it works! Maybe try one from the travel section, that way if you don't like it, you only spent like 2 bucks!

Luzelis Carrasquillo She said the Sacha Inchi is better for fine strands.
OK thank you, I hope it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it oily. Thank you for taking the time to reply

Glad you liked the video! I have low porosity hair and medium density and fine/medium strands
Love this video. I've only used the hibiscus one. Might try the the jbco one if I can find it.

Hello pressedforcurls I enjoyed your video and review of the smoothies. Please have a blessed day.

Great vid! I subbed ❤
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Omega 369 seemed too strong in scent for me. I had definition but hair ended up drying out
Yea that one definitely wasn't my fave either lol
Superfruit left my hair dry and hard. Frizzy too.
Yikes! That’s def no bueno!
Me too. The OG curl enhancing smoothie works best for me.
I wish you had shown the texture of the products to compare them. All the info you gave was very subjective
