    Good stuff and a great explanation of the refrigeration system. Just a thought on the cold room, maybe a better insulated door and some sort of face boards, cargo nets or hold downs on the shelfs to keep stuff from migrating to the floor while in motion. If the shelving system ever becomes problematic, maybe modified used pallet rack components would be better. If you wanted to silence the standard refer unit a good muffler and ducting the cooling air to go vertical makes a huge difference also engine intake air/valvetrains are incredibly noisy so a sound absorbing enclosure would also help there.

      Excellent comments --- that is a an insulated exterior door - and since that unit was intended for the entire trailer not a huge issue - - the dividing wall has an R23 -- the door is probably like R10 -now that window, while double pane is probable like R2- I just wanted to be able to look in without opening the door -- but it does sweat like crazy when the humidity is high -- great suggestions on that refer unit -- those things are LOUD -- we do use logistic straps on the shelves - - thanks for watching

    One place I knew (brew pub) had an enormous walk-in, but very little need for frozen storage. So they put their stand up freezers in the walk in. Dramatically reduced their power consumption.

      thats a great idea -- also would have helped with the defrost cycles -- thanks for watching

    Have you ever thought about getting an ice machine vs bagged ice. The footprint of a machine would be less than coolers filled with ice. Of course you would need a water tank to keep the machine supplied, you already have the power. Just random thoughts.😊 Keep up the great work and videos.😊

      yes we have. -- which is why I made the video about ICE, we have lots of ice machines -- and even fighured out which machines make all the water they consume into ice, all ice machines are not equal lots of them waste water in the process that does not become ice -- but the water is the problem -- if you want to make sure you can safely consume the ice you make -- keeping that much water stantized in those temps is tough -- thanks for watching.

    I was gonna ask about if you had any plans for some solar powered projects but it sounds like you have something in the works!! Love to see some videos on that

      Yes -- we have some more solar plans -- I will do a video on that soon. -- thanks for watching

    you can run the TK to draw down the temp then you can switch to the other unit when you load everything in that way it brings the temp down to where you need it that way it don't make it harder on the little system

    • @ParkerSystems
      @ParkerSystems  28 днів тому

      exactly -- that TK will catch that little room from 85F to 34F in 15 mins -- thanks for watching

    That’s a great question. 3 places the ones I covered up with board we can screw out. I added a set on the evaporator, and I can crawl under the trailer remove my grill and the factory grip and access the ports from the factory …. Great question. Thanks for watching

    That's a nice setup. I was wondering where the charge ports are in case you have to put more refrigerant in the system.
