- Introduction of my new 2001 BMW E46 325i Touring that I bought unseen for just 1.100€ ($1.206 / £977). In this video I talk way too much, fully inspect this 3 series and go over the plans for it. Towards the end of the video, I give a little teaser of the upcoming E60 M5 project. Also, bonus bloopers at the end.

engine mounts 100€ both
lower arms both 70€
thats how much it would cost to fix plus hand work

I can only imagine his content in a year or two when he mastered his pacing, polished his style, and brought in a quality ring light and mic... I'm saying 1m subscribers in 2022
@@janvanhunks7287 Yep, he's a natural on camera, his timing and judgement are spot on. Confident, yet not cocky, purposeful but still playful. There are so many dorks doing this type of content on YT, unwatchable mostly. Few have M539's native skill. He needs a handle, though. "M539" sounds like a submarine...

That is a US import, because in EU we didn't get the manual.
@@adamristic2822 in Spain there was one listed for 40k EUR. It was green with white and wood interior. Listed as the only manual E60 M5 in Europe.
@Jaski Kiiski I though it was a special order car since that green color is not from the catalog.
@@Biker_Gremling found it, looks very good but definitely not the only one. There is one for sale in Lithuania and I've seen one in Netherlands and Germany for sure. There are probably even more. I would guess more than 10.
Honestly, I would love to have even a quarter of the talent you've got. Not just talent for fixing cars, but the know-how to travel around and buy them in other countries. I've bought a couple of cars in the US and shipped them back to the UK, but never flown out to somewhere, bought a car, then flown back. That's just ace.

That's a beautiful spec... I bought an E46 Touring as my first car just a few months ago, a black 2003 316i manual with LPG conversion. It surely doesn't have a lot of power, but it's really cheap to operate, handles well and looks amazing - thankfully, it also came with Styling 68 summer tires 😍 It didn't have any major issues, TÜV until October 2020, 230.000 km, and I got it for only 1.650€ 😀

About the front suspension: It could feel good and not leaking, after more than 15 years a new set will improve the handling much!
To go full OEM: your car is missing the spare wheel cover, retainer and clip ( 71111092276, 71151096732 and 71106781144)

My F82 went in for service, which has turned into a full spark plug service, full set of replacement Michelin PSS (perished Continentals due to age/lack of miles, plus a nail for good measure, shown on video from workshop) and as a bonus they found a failed intake/charge pipe which they are kindly replacing for free!

Great video as usual! I'm loving the humor and the attention to detail and doing things right! As the proud owner of an E60 M5, all I can say is...good luck. The previous 3 owners of my car gave me receipts for 60k+ in maintenance, I found ATF in the SMG, and the rod bearings were showing copper when I got the car. Throttle actuators and gears, ABS/DSC pump, vanos lines, high pressure oil pump, EDC shocks, gear selector, knee support gears, (and the previous owners have already replaced entire SMG and clutch a few times)...the list goes on...oh and my genuine BMW badge fell apart last week.
When I saw the manual on the M5 ,my insides smiled 😍 Can’t wait for both
