- Sketchy Vert takes Sketchy to Li Tuning & Racing in Florida to get it ready and safe for racing. There are things that need to be fixed and addressed, along with items that Sketch has wanted to remove from the car.

Looks like he pulled their sticker off the windshield. Weird for sure
They did but something happened to my head gaskets since then. I’m getting water in the oil. Since the motor is coming out to fix the he head gaskets. I figured we needed to address some of the wiring and taking out the nitrous system.
@@squanchysquanch7525 I did take the Pfispeed sticker off my windshield but I still have two of them on Sketchy. Ones under the hood and ones on the roll cage.
So pfi didn't do a good job on ur car. I'm not surprised
Guess PFI and Mr Cotterpin weren't the answer! Lol. They seem to have a hard time finishing stuff 100% there. Good guys, good hearts, but definitely seem to lack with details and final build quality. Think that's why Sean ended up leaving there, too inconsistent and he seemed like he wanted to get shit done. Also not really their thing I guess, it being a domestic V8 build and Holley. Still though good wiring and attention to detail would be the same concept you would think. It sounds a bit silly but the PFI shop is always so dirty and a mess....crap laying all over, greasy fingerprints all over everything.... parts laying around....food containers...pop and beer cans... exterior is a mess too...just not a good look for a professional business. People want their pride and joy taken care of and kept clean when it's in the shop getting professional work done to it, at least that's what I would expect. It's a representation of how a shop is run....dirty, grimey, disorganized, no pride in that regard would make me second guess it right off the bat. Again great guys, just probably somewhere to go for a tune and not a car build...in and out...not a re wire or swap...or other very specific needs they can handle....but again not a complete build. They meant well and hopefully they gave you a good rate especially now having to do it all over again for the most part...guess the foundation is there but still double work on a lot of the vital systems it looks like. Also when they were track testing it, after they had ran it on the dyno for a few sessions, it had a ton of quirks....Sketchy didn't seem real enthused on those Colorado track days when he was there......he's just too nice and it's bad situation as I am sure he values them as friends still.

I think Pfispeed hired someone to work on Sketchy. I don’t really know though. I’m not mad I just want it fixed right so I can race it. I wasn’t there last year when the car got put back together. It’s all getting fixed now. Good thing I can show up anytime at this new shop in Florida to see the progress on Sketchy.

Waiting for the PFI split video; removed the banner new shop. I get it though. You need more of a full time shop that can work on your project. Cars as a hobby not a good investment endless money pit. I hope you get your $$ worth this time around.
I definitely do need a shop here in Florida to help me. Unfortunately Pfispeed can’t help me all the time like a local shop could. I removed the widow sticker but I’m still rocking a Pfispeed sticker on the roll cage and under the hood. 🤘🏻
Doesn't sound like they did anything wrong, you just need someone local so you can get things dealt with easily and way closer to home. Still watching the video now.

With all the money you have had to sink between shops you could have done some research, a bunch of UA-cam watching and addressed all these issues yourself for a fraction of the cost. That’s what i did. And anything that goes wrong, I can address it myself because I am familiar with every nut bolt and wire
Should of put a Ford motor in sketchy would run forever less problems just they're more money to buy and to mod most come with more power stock but ls people use those causr cheap can get one from a junkyard throw a turbo on it and your good. Used coyote on ebay 7 grand new 10k stock its aluminum but they actually made the coyote in Iron now for drag racing but the cost for a Ford motor and to set up it vs chevy ls same power is way diff.
