@@dragonriderabens9761 he has been right on a lot of stuff though. the gaming industry is very unstable, a lot of games get cancelled or stuck in development hell, a lot of games get changed multiple times or restarted, a lot of stuff can happen. add that with the Activision drama, the Microsoft acquisition and Toys for Bob going indie, there's just a lot of elements that could affect a potential Spyro 4.
so just because Spyro 4 hasn't come out or been announced yet, doesn't mean it was never in development as the dude has been speculating. in the end, only time will tell, all we have to do is wait, whether we believe the game is in development or not, there's nothing for us to do other than wait really

Crash does outshine Spyro by quite a margin. That being said, I think Toys for Bob in particular is better off doing Spyro games than Crash ones. Fits their style more.
I wish Vicarious Visions had gotten the chance to work on their own Crash title...
Spyro is better in my opinion.
I wouldn’t say it’s underrated. I’m a much bigger crash bandicoot fan but the original Spyro trilogy I think was reviewed a bit higher than crash. I think they remade crash first and did pretty well so they went with a bit more and plus it had the racing game that was really well received and then that did really well. Keep in mind definitely made some sort of appearance in the remakes and new games. But Rumble is basically a spin off Spyro game as well. Spyro never had a racing game like crashed in, but when it was remade, he got an entire map, and some of his friends showed up as well as him. A lot of the new maps weren’t even necessarily crashed bandicoot areas. They were some newer areas! Keep in mind, once spiral four comes out technically the games are being equally made. I think a game crash has more potential when it comes to that type of platforming. A lot more characters to choose from. Plus a lot more colorful characters I think. Not significantly more. I just hope the next Spyro game set up crossover game. I want a full fledge crossover game that’s genuinely set up! I mean the groundwork laid for it to be set up so it doesn’t come out of nowhere with cortex creating some machine that messes up and randomly bring Spyro here. Just set up the idea in the next game.

The Logo previously was Orange with fruit texture to Symbolize Crash Bandicoot. The logo we saw yesterday is purple with Dragon treasure texture and the only series that utilizes Dragon treasure is Spyro.
This is one of the most sound comments I read so far. We know how TFB teases us and this is consistent. It's always right in your face whether you notice it or not.
As soon as I saw that the Tiki Logo was Purple, I knew it was another hint to Spyro 4.

Remember the purple relics in Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time? That's not connected specifically to Crash or Spyro. Just to the developers themselves.

The Gem texture matches their going indie post which specifically says "Keep your horns on" which is a Spyro quote by one of the dragons you rescue
I find that purple is much more connected to a known character as Spyro rather than a relic that only the most die-hard of Crash fan are going to bother obtain.
And between this change of colour (Why even change it at all, unless they aren't teasing something) and their comment "Keep your horns on", something similiar to what Spyro says.

I'm glad that there's more to this than I thought, the way they synergized it with the former crash team rumble version is genius for those who payed attention . I still don't think Spyro 4 is as new as CGE thinks it is because then what were all the old hints and market activity from 2020 onward about? Still, this does retractively turn that purple texture change into a hint.
First the purple banner.
Now a tiki mask that was used during Team Rumble is used again but in purple.
I really hope this is a hint to SPYRO 4 and not another Crash game, because when it comes to tiki masks, that usually is directly linked to Crash.

I truly hope this means we're getting a new Spyro title. It has been far too long since Reignited, and it seems as if Spyro has been nearly forgotten at this point...
I'm really glad that Toys for Bob Studio got out from being under Activision and Microsoft in time before they became one of massive casualties of recent Microsoft's Purge (and still really sorry that those awesome studios ended up closed...)
That being said, I'm glad they're working on new (yet unofficially confirmed) Spyro game though it gonna be a looooooong while before we see anything out of it.

Has to do with the Gems - especially the Light Gems & Dark Gems.
I'm a fan of bringing Red back. He was actually a pretty good villain. And having a dragon as the antagonist makes so much sense.

When I 1st saw this purple tiki mask on the Toys For Bob’s website, I thought that they were teasing something, in my replies on my tweet, people told me that is their logo and their rebranding their logo. There could be more things on that tiki mask, but would wan to see when does Toys For Bob’s full website gets revealed. I want to thank everyone that told me it’s just a rebranding. Great video CGE👍

The puzzling bit about it is, as much as it resembles a mask in Crash Bandicoot, it even looks Spyro teasing because of it looking like those idol enemies from the second game.
I believe the logo could represent Spyro with the purple gradient representing Spyro. As I do hope we get news on a new Spyro game soon with how long it's been since the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Either the logo is just simply purple now, or it is a hint to either a new crash game with the similar coloured crystals or a spyro game as he’s purple.

I kinda want them to reveal that this has nothing to do with Crash or Spyro, and that this is a completely new IP, just to see the collective meltdown the internet will have.
I'm in agreement with you completely. I want toys for bob to create something new and special that doesn't have ANY microsoft involvement. Your dark humor is valid though. The internet would probably be angry.
To be playing devil's advocate, I honestly would want to see this happen. I think the Scrimblo obsessed clowns need to get humbled even more.
Or it is Spyro, but since the texture is gems instead of fruits, it's just Team Rumble again but rebranded to be more Spyro focused instead. That would piss off pretty much everyone.
I would love to have new Spyro, though I can understand if TFB wants to get another game out during the time, they got freedom to do so now!
As a hardcore Spyro fan myself I want it to be either Spyro 4- oooooorrrrr them attempting to make their own platformer title inspired by Crash and Spyro. I think they could pull it off! I wouldn't be mad at all and have been secretly hoping for them to maybe do that ever since they announced they're indie now, since so many there seem very passionate for that game genre.
Lets all hope it's a purple hint for the purple derg, but don't forget that the bandicoot also gathers purple crystal gems every now and then

What if in Spyro 4, Moneybags' dubious deeds and reputation catch up to him and he ends up bankrupt, now having to rely on non-arbitrary goods and services, like selling consumable items that Spyro and others can actually use, and may need to stock up on many times during the adventure, kinda like what they did with him in A Hero's Tale, even swapping out his fancy tuxedo and monocle with a stereotypical shopkeeper outfit.
Somehow I knew you'd tell us it was just a logo, because it doesn't look like anything /specifically/ Crash. And the fact that it's PURPLE (and you've already confirmed for us that Spyro 4 is happening) makes it OBVIOUS!
I can still hope the purple tiki mask means we're going back to Avalar in a new Spyro game, or at the very least going back to Idol Springs.

It would make sense for them to be working on something Spyro related. Not only with the purple colour but Crash has had 3 games since the N.Sane Trilogy. CTR Nitro Fueled, 4, and Rumble. 4 games if you include On The Run. Spyro has had nothing since the Reignited Trilogy. He's just been cameos in the Crash games. Whilst I am more of a Crash fan, I do think that Spyro needs his turn, and it's unfair on Spyro fans to just keep him as Crash's guest.
That logo mask does not work for a company called Toys for bob imo. Should be a toy or something, but whatever.

It's a happy coincidence that Tikis are prevalent in both Crash and Spyro (Idol Springs).
Toys for Bob has got too be one of my favourite game studios. Whatever is next Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon can’t wait too see what they have in store.

so could be anyone from them to Beenox or a completely different company (could even be a company who has made a Crash game in the past...assuming any of them still do game development)

I'm glad I watched all the way through before commenting. My theory was about to say the same thing. But a second theory I had was, is TfB going to go the gameboy route and do Crash Purple and Spyro Orange again? Or are they strictly going for a tiki themed Spyro game? I didn't realize that was their official site logo, I thought their logo was the rocket ship.
People see a tiki mask and neuron activation into thinking it's Crash when the thing is purple in a year of the dragon... Not to mention Crash got two games (even if one is, unsurprisingly, dead now) since his OG trilogy's remaster while Spyro had none.

It was pretty obvious that it had something to do with Spyro, but I completely forgot TFB changed their logo and so my pre-video theory was that they may have been doing a Crash-Spyro cross-over game. I don't think that's the case as Spyro is absolutely overdue for some love and care, buuuuuut...I also wouldn't hate the idea of the team reviving/making an old Crash-Spyro cross-over game.

Tbh it’s probably another Crash game & the reason it’s purple is likely because they plan on just using Spyro as second fiddle again……as much as I’d love a new Spyro game, it doesn’t seem like their enthusiastic enough to do it.
When I saw it, people thought it was a Crash mask, I just wanted to hit my head on the wall, they didn't see the purple color as clearly as it refers to Spyro.

I honestly hope that toys for bob make new ORIGINAL IPs like i love spyro and crash. I grew up with those games/characters. But that was the only reason why i was excited that they became independent/indie. I want NEW stuff from them. And all of the stuff going on with microsoft is wild. Seriously so if you want i hope you make theory videos about new characters they could create and stuff like that. Other than that keep up the great work 💯
The entire time I’ve been a part of this community one thing I have learned to never doubt is CGE’s knack for investigating so I know to trust him on this here’s hoping something will be announced soon 🤞

Fans need to push for Copeland to be part of this game, I’ve modded and fixed the music in Reignited, but they CANNOT make the game and not have Stewart Copeland, he was pretty upfront when he said bo one asked him the first time and he would have done it!
