Host/Narrator was amazing! You can feel her passion and enthusiasm. Not to mention beautiful

Yes, beautiful and sexy-an insult to viewers for their implication that those attributes are needed 3:26 to attract our attention to her extremely questionable history.

Bettany Hughes has done lots of documentaries. One of my favorites was the one on Moorish Spain.

I m watching again the meeting of 2 of the most accomplished scholars that de GB sends via TV to give us valuable information about the ancient times. I never get enough of them, and besides, they are still ravishing till this very day! Both are great women!

I'm 61. I've adored libraries ever since I could grasp the concept of " LIBRARY ". So learning about Egypt and the Great Library was exciting. But the lose of the library was a gasping tragedy. I was APPALLED to find out that such a wonderland of knowledge was gone! How could it have been so thoroughly misplaced?! Has no one gone looking for it?
I am older, a little wiser. I still believe that The Library will be found one day. I won't hold my breath.
The modern Library must be saved at all costs.

I think the attackers burned down the library and almost every book (papyri) was lost in the fire, except for the 1% that some people could salvage in the last minutes.

Brittany is one classy woman. She's damn smart, classy, a great dresser, pretty, and a person I greatly admire. Her significant other is on lucky guy. You rock Dr. Hughes and much love from Chicago.

All his family was murdered from the husband of his sister. A jealous terrible man . Kassandros. We found their bodies in Macedonia in Greece, in king Philip's tombs
