When we mapped this, I didn't even expect a nomod FC. He didn't only FC TWICE, but with HD and HDHR. This is unbelievable, both scores and amazing and thinking Shige enjoys playing something I mapped makes me so happy!!!
Exiler I would argue that WhiteCat is closest to Shige in being versatile in all areas. Vaxei has the speed, which I would say, Shige is by far worse than him. Streaming is also another one that’s close to Shige’s, ever since Vaxei’s Yomi Yori or Freedom Dive HR. But all the comparisons for them end there. Comparably, WhiteCat has fc’ed Euphoria which has jumps and streams, something that No one has ever come close to doing except firebat. Tengaku is another one, WhiteCat sniped Shige on that, with the added bonus of it being HD. Streaming, WhiteCat has also Fc’ed ROR with HR, a stream map that no one else had fc’ed with said mod. He also fc’ed it with HD before fc’ing with HR. Reading, WhiteCat has the ability to read slow AR, much like Shige. Vaxei has speed, most practically the best aspect he has. WhiteCat also has that, add the fact that he has arguably the best aim, can read slow and fast AR, and stream maps just like Vaxei and Shige. Mind you, Shige is still the most versatile player. It is arguable who’s better at speed, either Vaxei or WhiteCat, but I would say it’s Vaxei. Aim, WhiteCat. Streaming, still Shige. Reading, Shige. Most importantly, if you don’t want WhiteCat being compared to Shige, then don’t compare Shige to Vaxei since they have less things in common than that of Shige and WhiteCat.
What does HR do? Everybody: oh, it flips the map, makes circles smaller, approach rate higher and you have to tap more accurate to not get 100. It becomes really hard to play. Shige: iT is jUsT tHe sAmE mAp, bUt uPsIde dOwN
When i was grinding 3-4* maps i legit believed it only flipped the map upside down and made the circles smaller. Only later i found out that it also increased OD and AR
