Dude thanks this has been really helpful. Many other YTubers only talk about the setup but don’t actually DO the setup. So when I found your video I was so relieved. Thank you! 🎉🤙
Great info on the harness line and nice back hand + harness + GO Pro control! I am impressed with how you got going to flight with your 4'6" board in wavey water. May I ask your weight? I learned Wingfoiling on my 2005 Staboard formula board. So nice to learn basic wing handleing but I out grew it quickly. I am 170 lbs and am looking at the 5'8" Starboard Wingboard for my next board. I have been Windsurfing for decades and Wind Foiling for over 3 years. Trying to figure out the balance between buying and selling too many boards and having an easy and fun learning curve. Also, for light wind no wave Wing foiling do you use a larger board? Any advice is very welcome. 🙂
Nice video, what was the wind speed, foil size and rider weight, that would be nice to know. Do you think a coiled leash would work better to keep the are clean and tidy?
As a dies in the wool windsurfer I would feel naked going out without a harness. Even if the wing is really light in the hands it's great to be able to release a hand at times and just take away the load or simply scratch your nose :o)

You're most welcome Hendrik. Zane is the best! Happy flying

Glad to hear it! There are some more how to videos currently being released - please check them out for some more helpful winging tips.
Nice job filming, that looks pretty tricky to do. Really interesting concept, maybe I'll give it a go!

Hmm 🤔 gots me thinking about a harness now. Great Video. Mahalo
Harness will be great addition for longer distances/ downwinders. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

You need to attach leach to back waist belt!
is this a normal windsurfer harness?
