Spoilers: Its not just the CA arc what makes HxH my all-time favorite anime. Without all the build-up of the entire show, this arc would've been meaningless. Themes from the very beginning of the story come back in the CA arc and Gon's and Killua's character arcs also get concluded in this arc. But thats only impactful due to the set-up in earlier arcs.
The manga has always been dark and mature from the very start. I hate the fact they made it quite kid-friendly, especially at the beginning and at least until this arc.
I wonder how the ant arc would be if killua didn't snnobed the arrow guy in the last part of the exam arc. I guess he would be the one that lose and the, here in the ants arc, Kaito would have more time before they discover about nen.
I'm looking forward to them either changing their tune and upping their hxh episode viewing by the week or their excruciating slow episode by episode realization that the entire arc ends in episodes where you have to know whats next.
Considering they had a huge problem with the little fan service of Misa in Death Note, they would absolutely despise Code Geass with the amount of fan service that show has, especially since the characters are still in high school.
@@Alex_Johnson_ maybe not despise because they'd dig the story and the characters HARD but they'd be stressed after the 15th time so we'd have to tell them beforehand
@@b_delta9725 I think you may be underestimating how much fan service ruins shows for some people. I could be wrong, but I feel like they are that type of people.
The editing is not clear on something that I found lacking the first time watching. From the beginning of the arc to here, the scenes with Gon and Kilua are the present, and the scenes with the ants and even these hunters are the recent past, things that happened in the past few weeks and days, while the boys were well distracted in Greed Island. Knowing that makes the pacing much more enjoyable, since we understand the queen needs time to birth the first few generations of humanoid ants, and the mud castle probably took some time to be constructed as well, not to mention all the hunter groups that came in and disappeared before Kite and the boys arrived. By the end of this episode, the present and the recent past meet, and next one is where the prologue of this arc ends and the real fun begins.

As everyone said before hunter from this arc is different type of anime , everything from here is DARK
We lost Ponzu, bye, may the force be with you.
Yes, girls looks like we aren't in Kansas anymore.
A human that just hate humanity. Imagining that gene is in an ANT with nen ability.

I can't even describe how excited I am to see their reaction/discussion to the king as his character develops. He's exactly what I think they want from this arc and its gonna be fantastic. A lot of reactions I watch don't talk about the king's character enough so I'm very excited bc I know they're gonna have such good discussions. hopefully the king doesn't disappoint them too much when he's first born, but that makes the payoff for his character transformation even better.
It can't disappoint them, cuz they already expect him to be cruel (because of Gyro's backstory)
There is no relation between gyro and the king @@LuisSierra42
@@KareemK-jl3sj I know but they are never going to know unless they look it up
@LuisSierra42 except it literally says he left NGL and one day they'll meet. He's still alive. Do u pay attention?
I remember seeing *that* scene for the first time all I could say was a very quiet "ah". 👁️👄👁️
u have to wait until you watch Haikyuu before you make the mugs...I have a feeling AT LEAST half the cast of Haikyuu will make it on your mugs 😂
it’s annoying that m&l have haters when they’re both just vibing and enjoying shows and it’s usually insecure men that can’t handle the point of view of women.
while Milena and Lola do prefer female leads and characters, they’re NOT misandrists. preferences do exist has we’re all humans and tend to appreciate more what we can identify with.
tbh it’s one of my favorite reaction channel out there for their honesty, understanding and mostly for the vibe. few cuts and montage, just two friends and mugs. what’s there to hate?
Do they really have haters??
@@opqrrg yup sadly. they mention it while talking about light yagami on Lola’s mug. but just go on the Breaking Bad reactions, that’s where I saw the most hate toward them. undeserved, really
@@masekyn5480yes I listened to that part but I clearly thought that the one who said "they hate men" was necessarily a troll (he was even a patrion😂😂)....
Anyway I saw some of their reactions to Breaking Bad some time ago but I don't remember about the comments🤔🤔. For their other reactions which I followed practically entirely (Mr. Robot, FMAB and now HxH) it didn't seem like there were many haters, on the contrary🙂🙂.....
then obviously there will always be some imbecile who comments it's inevitable when you have a UA-cam channel🤷🤷.....
@@opqrrgIn past episodes of Hunter x Hunter there were many people being "angry" at them for the way they dislike Ging; some of them said something like "they just don't get Ging and how he treats Gon because they're women and who knows how they think with their FEMALE EGO" (whatever that means). They also received many other nice words because they were upset at scenes where women were being harassed and people said they and their reactions were mean or ridiculous and exaggerated for that (don't ask).
A bit sad but true...
@@summuspoetamaximusdante8504 if I'm honest, I read some comments from people who like Ging but they weren't offensive (at least the ones I read😅😅) just different opinions (anyway i hate Ging as well and i am a man🤣🤣) . And most of the comments are usualy in their favor or at least they were calm🤔🤔
then as I said in my previous comment, there is always some idiot everywhere🤷🤷.....
Spoilers:
Its not just the CA arc what makes HxH my all-time favorite anime.
Without all the build-up of the entire show, this arc would've been meaningless. Themes from the very beginning of the story come back in the CA arc and Gon's and Killua's character arcs also get concluded in this arc. But thats only impactful due to the set-up in earlier arcs.
キメラアント編はほんとに面白いからこれからの2人のリアクション楽しみ😊♡
yaaaaay Im the 1K like, love when it comes to a round number, such a satisfying feeling
You should give Succession a chance. One of the best show last couple of years
i was 9 years old when I watched Hunter x Hunter, lol. that was 2013.
Damn. I was 11, in 2015. And funny the first arc I watched was CA since that was airing at that time before they aired the complete series.
Love how they use the word hunter meaning men user 😂
36:34 already found the message of the arc, well done
The manga has always been dark and mature from the very start. I hate the fact they made it quite kid-friendly, especially at the beginning and at least until this arc.
Nah i think it was an amazing choice, makes the ligh hearted arcs really enjoyable and the serious moments are shocking and burned in your memory
I forgot that the beginning of the Chimera Ant arc was really creepy
20:48 *They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard!*
I wonder how the ant arc would be if killua didn't snnobed the arrow guy in the last part of the exam arc. I guess he would be the one that lose and the, here in the ants arc, Kaito would have more time before they discover about nen.
This is going to get a lot darker.
I'm looking forward to them either changing their tune and upping their hxh episode viewing by the week or their excruciating slow episode by episode realization that the entire arc ends in episodes where you have to know whats next.
I hope they watch Berserk one day
Fun fact: Reina is Spanish for queen.
I'm glad you noticed that the koala is a bit different from the other ants.
I wonder what were the human he comes from.
@@MrJcalvino I think they dive deeper into his origins later on
Reina was the little kid's sisters name.
A reaction of Code Geass will be highly interesting considering all the debates that Death note created
Code geass is goated, I would love them to react
Code geass would be fun with these 2
Considering they had a huge problem with the little fan service of Misa in Death Note, they would absolutely despise Code Geass with the amount of fan service that show has, especially since the characters are still in high school.
@@Alex_Johnson_ maybe not despise because they'd dig the story and the characters HARD but they'd be stressed after the 15th time so we'd have to tell them beforehand
@@b_delta9725 I think you may be underestimating how much fan service ruins shows for some people. I could be wrong, but I feel like they are that type of people.
great episode
Ah check it out guys. The ant arc started
Milena: Omg she's dying..
*dies*
Love the enthusiasm guys but I’d say try to save your questions and thoughts until after. Sometimes you guys miss details because youre talking and in an arc like this everything can be important
ohhh... THIS episode 😢😢😢
Gyro's story is more relevant than most people think, but it's an only manga thing
