    My own hair growth success, I stuck to this routine:
    Take early morning sunshine daily for essential vitamin D. Consume vegetables of various colours. Applying paraben and fragrance free hair shampoo and gently massaging two times per week with hair oil by litttleextra cocooonion oil. Imp. to remember that hair growth is influenced by general well-being as well as circulation and diet.

    I have very long thick hair and barbers always complement me for it. most of them ask me what I do. I always say I NEVER use anything else than 100% cotton towels, cold water and wash them maximum twice a week. Started to use conditioner two years ago, made an noticeable impact. Thx for reassuring me, also my GF already did that :D Also I should try hair masks :) ty

      I only use conditioner every other weak after shampooing but just because I am lazy xD but imo u don't need to use conditioner every time. the less chemicals the better. I also use very 'soft' shampoo, it's a bit more expensive but there is no perfume and other stuff in it. but for me personally the most important thing is to towel/ air dry them, I NEVER use the hairdryer. I am no prof tho, just personal thoughts :)@@Iambetter222

    After a bad reaction to a dandruff shampoo where my hair started overproducing oil I stopped shampooing completely about 12 days ago. I’ve been massaging my scalp daily and thoroughly rinsing my hair and scalp once or twice daily and it was pretty oily at first but now it’s just about adapted. My hair is SO easy to style now, I don’t need any product or blow drying and my hair has never looked better. I have very fine straight hair but now it’s got all the body I need with the natural oils there now. Im super happy with it.

      @jztouch 6 місяців тому +6

      @@MemerDadhuh, I’m about 3 weeks in so far and still good results. I wonder if there were other issues going on? I’m doing daily recommended scalp massages, combing a couple times a day, keeping the comb very clean, thoroughly rinsing with warm water once or twice a day, exercising often and to a sweat at least weekly, and eating nutritious food. Haven’t had any problems with smell or dandruff and my hair remains much improved regarding ease of styling and appearance.

    • @LazyBoyA1
      @LazyBoyA1 6 місяців тому +11

      @@MemerDad I started this too and have no problem, one misconception is that you can just massage your scalp for a minute and you're clean, but no you have to really get in there and massage your scalp for a good 5-10 minutes under the water and try to get everything not attached to your head off, remember you are changing easy chemical cleaning with hard mechanical cleaning. A good comparison is try cleaning your floors with just water and a mop, it will require you to put a whole of a lot more effort as the dirt will not just lift up on the first pass of the mop, you would have to scrub and scrub until it gets cleaned.

  • @mistyyoyo
    @mistyyoyo Місяць тому

    i use this 4-in-1 hair thickening shampoo (has aloe vera in it). I only shampoo every 2 days (2-3x a week), and I shower with cold water every day.
    I think my hair's also quite damaged and split, so I apply this damage-control hair serum to my scalp after I shower (I air dry, also I only apply it on the days I don't shampoo).
    I also have hairfall, and I think my hair is starting to thin (strands vary thickness sometimes). Can't be balding, I'm only 14.
    I don't comb; I'm trying to get this messy, fluffy hair look. I'm thinking about getting sea salt spray to add volume to my hair (although the shampoo already helps provide that I think)

      @soap2630 Рік тому +3

      Probably best to go to a dermatologist and see what they think would be good to help. I'm not sure if you have or not so I don't want to assume anything, but a lot of people get dandruff and dry/flaky scalps confused, so using dandruff shampoos can actually be damaging unless you officially know if you have dandruff or not, plus, everyone's hair and scalp are different, so a dermatologist is definitely the way to go.

      If the flakes that come out your scalp is yellow try taking your hair type and porosity and finding a shampoo that'll get rid of the dandruff and yes cold water is good to wash your hair with it doesn't have to be that cold but it can help moisten your scalp and stuff

      Just need it warm enough to get rid of stuff, if theres not much extra oil that you want to get rid of then cold is fine. Hot water causes hair to 'open up' and loose its nutrients or something (not an expert so maybe someone else can better explain).
