WHAAAAAATTT!! That jump off the drum riser!!! I saw them in 75 in Schereville Indiana when Radar Love was on the charts. With Blue Oyster Cult. We had some great ones in the 70s! Driving all night my hands wet on the wheel.....
This was recorded at the Long Beach Auditorium and I was there, they were great and I can tell you the colors were normal - NOT GREEN like the video...lol
Love it. Back in '75 when I was 9 ,me and my older brothers would air play . I was youngest, but on the drums. True sweet memory, as my last remaining brother passed last May. Love you bro's
It's a little known fact that the management of The Who asked Cesar to join the band following Keith Moon's death. But Cesar remained loyal to Golden Earring. After touring together in 1972, The Who got Golden Earring to sign a deal with Track Records and they also became good friends. This is just one fine example of Cesar's talent!
Cesar Zuiderwijk - Greatest drummer in the World - 1974 who were the King drummers then? Moon-Appice -Baker-Bonham ...He could play just as good any of them. A real showman, nice guy and funny too. But only speaks Dutch ...lol
Classic....
Finally, an unedited version WITH Cesar's solo. Saw this the night it aired and it changed my world forever including buying Fibes drums in '75
Insane 70"s just killing it from the Netherlands.
Saw them open for Foreigner at MSG in nyc 1978...
Superb!!! Cesar absolutely killed it! Absolute peak of the band right here. though still many great albums after.
UNBELIEVABLE!!! WOW!! NOW THAT IS A ROCK SHOW!!!!

Amazing stamina
After Zappa at Circle Star Theater earlier in 74, The Earring/Joe Cocker was my second concert at Winterland. Quite an impact, indeed....

I don't disagree my friend.
Caesar and Mick Tucker from Sweet do not get the credit they deserve as being absolutely PHENOMENAL musicians / drummers.
Who’s on the keys?
cbalducc that would be Robert Jan Stips... the only keyplayer that was in the Golden Earring ( only in the band for a couple of years ,2)
Robert was freelancing in a couple of their albums and shows thru the years
