I really don’t see them getting anybody and just tanking another year letting everybody develop and finding somebody nice in 2025 at the wing spot or point guard spot. Maybe seeing how Castle does at the point guard this year and if it doesn’t work find a point guard and move him to the three
I don’t wanna hear anything about his lack of defense, when you have guys like castle, vassell, sochan, and wemby on your defense to support trae, IM NOT WORRIED, put him on the guy who’s gonna sit corner all game and let everyone else do the work while he runs the show on offense. Hes getting hunted for mismatch, its inevitable, and we cant have that significant weakness if we want to win multiple titles. Ideally we should be atleast good defensively at all positions, like what the celtics have now.
Spurs aren't trading away the Hawks picks, especially now seeing how the Hawks are selling off their key starters like Murray and they aren't done. Hawks 2025, 2026 & 2027 picks are going to possibly be top 3 lotto picks if they sell everyone.
The Spurs would probably have to move the contracts of Devonte, Collins, Keldon, and Tre Jones to sign Young. Devin's new contract also kicks in next year so money would be tight for extensions on any other players. I would hate to part with Atlanta's 2025 pick which looks like it may be high lottery and that player could be All Star potential at much cheaper price.
Highly doubtful. I know Wemby wants to win now. But Spurs have a system, and that system evolves around the Organization, not the franchise player lol.
