My daughter just finished her sophomore year at Florida State. She entered with a 75% Bright Futures scholarship. We put away $40,000 for her to go to college and she may even have money left over for graduate studies. Florida is quite possibly the best state to live in, work in and be educated in. I was born here and I fully intend to retire and die here. Why would I want to leave a place like this? No state income tax, low property taxes and low sales tax. I just hope we aren't overrun by liberals coming here and voting for the same BS policies and candidates they fled from.

Since when was protesting considered terrorism? January 6th protesters were not terrorists, neither are these college kids. Try having some consistent values, like the 1st amendment, and stand up for them.
@@mikeappleyard1898 Incorrect, any protest that goes from peaceful to violent, i.e. taking hostages, burning property, and taking over property without the consent of the owners are ALL unconstitutional as written if you would take three seconds to check. A peaceful protest is legal in the United States as long violent acts as listed above are not perpetrated. People who are actively breaking these laws are not protected by the constitution, as such they need to be held accountable.
Violence does not fix anything, nor does it help your cause, it only shines a very negative light on your cause and on you as an individual. A vast majority of Americans do not like these violent protests and will support any governor or president who puts their foot down and does not allow them. As such, these students and non-students need to get their acts together and learn what is an actual peaceful protest because their actions will lead to governors like DeSantis to be voted into more prominent roles in government in the future. This, I promise.
Having said all this, I want to make it clear that all the violent protests that have occured over the past 10 years I've personally disagreed with every single time. This includes January 6th and BLM protests. Many mentally unstable individuals have caused so much destruction under the guise of "peaceful protests." I would love to see a president who actually puts these crazy people in their place and not put up with their "peaceful" protest bullshit. I DO NOT support violent protests and never will.
(1) Expel all student participants. (2) Publish the names of those expelled. (3) Deport those expelled who are not US citizens - without the right to ever come to US. (4) Do it now. Do not allow them to continue or go unpunished.
