The correct action bill is called HR2, and was approved May 2023.
The Dem Senate has been sitting on it for over a year now, refusing to vote on it.

It is called HR2, and the Senate has sat on it for over a year, refusing to vote on it, because it would actually fix the border crisis.
The bill you are speaking of is a repeat bill that was already voted down months before, and the Dem's just repurposed the same failed bill, a few days ago.. just to look, to the media, like they were trying to fix the crisis, and the Rep were unwilling.
