I feel rebuilding Deportivo La Coruña would be an interesting challenge. The former champions have been stuck in the Spanish for the past 3 years and there are no signs of that changing this season. Plus, not much prize money in Spain until you reach the top division 😅
I love this format. The slightly longer video feels a lot more natural and fun than the shorter scripted ones. As for the next team to rebuild, I'll always request Wolves, though that's more of a build at this point than a rebuild.
Really enjoyed this format. Schalke is a great club to rebuild since they have such an amazing stadium and incredible fanbase.(among the best attendance in Europe despite their struggles recently). Thanks Kev for another great video.
Love this, I'm currently doing a similar save with Nurnberg, just missed out on Europe in 8th during their first season back in the bundesliga since 2019
Funny seeing Nelson Weiper pop up...hes my striker. An absolute destroyer of worlds in this game. Hes 6'4 and completely overwhelms people. I have him and Gelson Dala as dueling strikers in the MLS and they both are getting 20 goals each per season. Weiper is probably my favorite player in the game.
I started Ouédraogo right from the beginning, and signed André Ayew on a free who scored and assisted a lot of goals (1 year contract). I got Schalke promotod in my first season with a record breaking total points. Due to the financial situation, I couldn't realy afford to much new players and ended up with a rather small squad. Now at the start of December, I'm doing well and being at a fourth place currently in the Bundesliga, I can't complain. Just hope for players staying fit and not getting injured for longer time 😅 Again, play Ouédraogo every single game!
The squad is really good for a D2 club, and the youth prospects are awesome. This is the save I did on the new FM, playing a simple 442, and got into europe in the first season up. Terodde immediately wanted to leave though, end ended up leaving midway through the first season even after scoring 18 goals and playing almost every game. Its a fun save though. Ouedraogo, Bulut, Becker, Matriciani, and Yusufu are ballers.
In real life the 2. Bundesliga is the hardest second-tier league in the world imo, even moreso than the EFL Championship due to the extremely competitive nature of the league. I mean we saw many former Bundesliga clubs fell from the first to the third or even the fourth tier in just a few years recently.
Loving the rebuild and new style videos Kev! How about doing a dismantle style video (or even journeyman!) where you go 'Mike Basset' on club or clubs to the point they are relegated, worse and you get to the point no-one will employ you. Pretty much your non-league to legend in reverse lol.
Would still have liked to have seen the 5th season, to be fair. The league win was something of a fluke - 60 points in the Bundesliga is a really, really low amount - and personally, I would have enjoyed seeing if you could keep that progress moving in the right direction. Your video, of course, do what you like, but if you set yourself 5 years in future, I'd like to see all 5 years to see where you end up 😊
Liking this a lot. Future possibilities like Paris FC to take over Ligue 1 from PSG, rebuilding Deportivo or 1860 Munich or less challenging in Serie B with Sampdoria or Parma. Even a twist with an islander save with Bastia, Ajaccio, Mallorca, Tenerife, Palermo or Cagliari.
thats what im currently doing now i won the league first season but the key to it was the first half of the season i loaned out the wonderkid 6`3 beast in the academy to ingolstadt called ouedraogo, by january we were in 6th so needed players desperately so called him back ut him right wing & absolutely transformed & saved my season

you should have set the game mode to real world and simulated the save until you reached the same date as the recording so it would be more realistic, more of a challenge and bit more entertaining. also what is a gilet? never heard that in my life might just be a location thing but we call them bodywarmers here
