Could you upload photos you take on your phone? I have a Note 10+ and it's has a pretty decent camera. I'm honestly just looking to make some money on the side before moving to go to college.
Wow! James, that's a really fantastic result! To earn so much, having only 400+ photos...that's impressive) I looked through your portfolio on shutterstock and saw that all your pictures are sooo beautiful! I wonder if there are pictures that haven't sold even once?))
I’ve had my photos up for about 5 months and I recently got a message that says that the photos were approved but not searchable to the public. How do I make money with that?
Great content. Thank you. I would love to see more of your photos like in this video. It would also be interesting to see your equipment and the software you use to edit (I believe you said Lightroom). Do the photos you submit have to be a particular size/quality? Are images taken with cell phones permitted? Thank you!
These days most of my photos are taken with a Panasonic G9, but I first started with a Nikon D5000 which is an entry level DSLR. There is a limit on size but it is low, if you have a camera made in the last 5 years you will be fine. You can submit photos from phones and I have but sometimes they will be rejected due to quality. I find if you have good light then phones van get good photos but with okay or bad light you will need a better camera. I edit in Lightroom and often round trip to Photoshop for some photos. Hope it helps.
Great video. I haven’t gotten any sales yet but I just started and was wondering is there a section where you set your own price for the photos or do they make the pricing for you.
Thanks for the great tips! I was wondering how do you know where your pictures end up (you mentioned end reports and websites, how do you know this)? Thanks!
hey saw your question and im answering cause i just figured out how to! you have to upload the photo that you sold at google images. google will find the most similar photos, and one can be yours ;)

The Morain lake photos was a long time ago, I had a Nikon D5000 at the time, I typically do use a tripod for landscape shots. I use LIghtroom and photoshop for editing, have considered doing video but haven't gotten around to it. Hope it helps.

Does Alamy pay a higher rate for stock than Shutterstock? Annual reports have a decent budget for photos...
My rate per photo on Alamy have been higher but I get a lot more downloads on Shutterstock so I make a lot more on Shutterstock.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this one :)
