I've always been like: "yeah 10 is big, but a baby? Isn't it still to small for that?!" But that Pineapple just changed that in an instant. Kinda scary but also kinda cool what our bodies can do! (Still think of myself as a "kid" in most ways so I knew about this but I never got the size right in my head up untill now!) I'm still very sure that I wanna be a mum someday and I'm very in love with the thought of being pregnant and giving birth!
I saw a vaginal birth for the first time in my nursing school clinical recently and the part of the baby's head that was coming out for a majority of the pushing time was only as big as like the navel orange. I thought it was a small baby, but then the rest of her came out so quickly and her head was bigger than the pineapple and she still had a cone head for a few hours so her head was even bigger in reality! 😭 it was incredibly impressive!
I couldn’t do that like love it COGRANTS to you I LOVE WHAT YOU ARE THINKING you are a good person in the world mistress that you have to have on e but I love your positivity none of this is meant to be hate
I was jammin to the music while reminicing my L&D experience. 😂😂 Its so cool to see different things you can compare both the size of a growing fetus and cervical dilation to! You should do more!
Man. People say I had an easy labor because it was so fast. The doc checked me and said I was at 2 and half efaced whatever that means, so he was going to get breakfast. 45 min. later a nurse had delivered my daughter. I even heard bones snap.
Same! The nurse said they were probably going to send me home. My body went into overdrive! Felt like my body was being ripped apart. They didn't even have time to finish the paperwork before my son was born. Never again
@@mommabear2544 right. They ran out to get a painkiller and then shot it in the garbage because it was too late by the time she ran back so I got nothing. Second was an emergency c-section
Delicious visual aid! 😊👍 I saw your dessert one, but this one makes my mouth water! 😋👍❤️ Plus, it makes sense when you consider that children are the fruit of a Woman's womb! 😊❤️🤰🍍
Ive seen a few versions of this, but this one really was able to hit me with how BIG that stretch is. I know how large a pineapple is and that is supprising to me, and Im a woman!
THIS was EXTREMELY informative! 8 gave birth in 2002, and it was explained MUCH less clearly than this. I would have been so much less scared if I'd had this reference point.
Yeah, yeah. On the other hand, when my wife arrived at the hospital, she was already fully dilated and didn't believe at first that she was in full labour. She thought that it was the beginning of lots of hours to come. It only took one or two more hours then she was done. To be fair, the actual birth was pretty exhausting and painful. But up until then she was still very active and mobile. 😎👍
i saw the blueberry and was already in utter shock then the kiwi i was like surely the pregnant person's body starts producing more norepinephrine but then i remembered the epidural and the fact some people still feel pain with that... holy moly it is truly astonishing just the way some people's bodies work especially when it is for something that they want. i love the idea of becoming a mother andi truly hope i and my sometime in the future wife can be mums to children we adopted together my number one goal is and will always be to be the best possible parent/mentor/guardian i can be to live and be kind and to not get mad about silly things i do not see myself getting pregnant but it doesn't mean i dislike that people get pregnant it's the opposite i love it and i love it for you and the eventual baby but only if the person who is pregnant truly desires to have this kid the nurture them and love them, it is heartbreaking to see so many rejected kids some at home some away and some on the street all forms may vary but the emotional pain from that is all the same
I'm pregnant and while I appreciate the information (and the clarity) this is terrifying haha Makes me wanna opt for c-section. (No judgement to anyone however they birth and I appreciate the information cuz often times we're not told a lot of stuff!)
@@mamanursetina she had difficult labors. One of my brothers pooped in his amnionic sac because the nurses didn’t believe my mom was in labor yet . How my mother delivered 9 kids vaginally, I have never fully appreciated until I got pregnant and learned so much about what's in store for me when I deliver. 😮😳😱
Oh thank God for my epidurals!!!! I wanted to go aunatural with both but had to be induced for both im not about to mess with the pit dragon nope not gonna do it.
As someone who haven’t even had their first period yet (Might have it this year or next year) These videos make me wanna get my tubes tied for I even have a period
Ah the cervix charcuterie board returns bearing fruit.

Could call it the fruit of your labor.

I love that 10 cm is a pineapple. It almost looks like a party! Yay we made it!
Whooop whoop
"Your cervix as fruit!"
*violently cuts the fruit in half*
Lol😂
Ngl, my eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw the pinapple
Pineapple for fertility :)
pineapples for the win

Your cervix as fruit: *Cuts fruit in half* - AHHH! Nooo! 😂😭😂🙈

Tryna focus, but now I'm hungry😂😂😂. Thank you for the demo. This is an excellent way to look at it
My goodness... the female body is ASTOUNDING!!! 💕💕💕💕
That’s an extremely helpful visual! Thanks.
I really thought fully dialated was going to be a grapefruit 🤣 pineapple was a much better choice. It screams this sh*t finna hurt! Lol
I’ve never been so scared in my life. 😂
This song is gonna be stuck in my head lol.

This is horrifying but also interesting

"Thanks babe, this fruit salad is great! What's the recipe?" "My cervix" 😂
This is so terrifying. I am so glad I had a planned c-section
Thank you ❤
I love this idea! I also love this song! The Mask fans anyone?
This puts it in a whole different perspective!!! I was 5cm for 2 month before we had to start the labor!!!😮😮😮
I couldn’t read any of this the first time it played. As soon as the song started I started thinking about the movie The Mask lol
What a great night school hint! Great visual!
The visual is so fun and helpful and painful while thinking that I pushed that out of there. 😂😱
This makes me so terrified to gibe birth. How is humanity alive. 💀
Yeah, yeah.

Lol never got past the 2, and after 33 hours of inactive labour I requested a c-section (high risk here)

Anna The Nurse does something similar with a variety of different foods!
Me after seeing that visual and realizing I’ve been stuck on 2cm for an entire week 🙃
Hey now.....cervixes can surprise you. Try to stay positive :)
My Cervex hated dilating... long slow ketotic labour
You took “fruit of thy womb” (Catholics will get it) to a whole new level
Thank you mom
Coincidentally, once you’re 10cm dilated and pushing, it feels like you really are pushing out a pineapple.
I'm pregnant and while I appreciate the information (and the clarity) this is terrifying haha Makes me wanna opt for c-section. (No judgement to anyone however they birth and I appreciate the information cuz often times we're not told a lot of stuff!)
My eyes kept getting bigger and bigger
I now see why my mother was grateful I gave her toxemia and an emergency c section. No way was my 10lb body coming out of that.
did you measure out the fruits in the grocery store for this? i have to know
I went to 4 and stopped with my first. Emergency C section of course. Second was a planned C.
Off the wall question: People are different sizes, though, so can a tiny woman be fully dilated at less than 10 cm? Or another woman get to 11?
That explains a lot. Dang.
My mother doesn’t fully dilate so she only got to about 8cm for all six kids. She is a strong woman!
And birthed them? Were you guys smaller babies? That’s amazing

Does it get smaller after few months?
It does. Things will return to (mostly) their pre pregnancy size
Why does the mandarin for inside the hole and the other ones don’t? 😭
I don't think I ever wanna get pregnant
that's fucking scary
I don’t think I even have that much space down there oh god
As someone who haven’t even had their first period yet (Might have it this year or next year) These videos make me wanna get my tubes tied for I even have a period
It's sad really. As Americans, we are so bad at the metric system that we need fruit to understand as full functioning adults.
Alright I love your videos but the orange doesn't quite fit and it drove me nuts lol
I can’t hear this song without thinking of the Mask lol
I'm never going to look the same way at fruit lol
My gawd, I do believe I have gone quite pale ! Who else held the “fruit” in their hands to actually gauge the width ?
Well this is unnerving...
I still want kids though but damn we can push out a whole damn Pineapple 🍍 😨🫡☠️
Need a mom❤
So I pushed out three pineapples?
No wonder it was a little sensitive afterwards! 😅
I want to be a mom within the next 2 years but Jesus this makes me anxious.
Please stop cutting my cervix in half.
this is why i will not fuck with pregnancy what the fuck why do we have to stretch that far for our massive heads 😭😭
Why did you have to ruin fruit for me like this 😂😂😂
We dey hear am women....and they think it's so simple ...❤
Great job, but so painful to watch…even tho I haven’t had any kids - yikes
Haha
And it feels like that when you push them out after 18+ hours, and most of the fluid's gone 😅
Holy crow. Yup never having kids. Could definitely not do this and survive. Thank you for my daily birth control
Okay so imma be pushing out a pineapple
Right, okay, be cool
Not gonna lie, my heart skipped a beat 😅
The Carman Miranda of dilation! 🍍
I’m disturbed
🍉 🍎 🍍
I am never going to see a pineapple and waffle as just food ever again! I will always wonder how i pushed my 8 and 10lb babies out that. 😶🌫️
Okay good news you are OFFICIALLY a pineapple and we can bring you down to have your baby!
This is why I’m never having biological children
Oh boy you haven't even put the raspberry down and I can tell I'm not ready for this video lmao here I go though! Fruit🥗 time
I think if they showed these in S#xEd less teens would want to get pregnant.. I'm a grown woman and if I wasn't convinced before, I sure am now..
That's scary 😮
God is so kool
Wait what? It’s supposed to get that big? 😨huh
I have more respect for my mom
Yep. Never having kids. Nope.
Delicious!
