The fact that the intro music is the only non-violet thing in the entire game is cool Because if GTA 2 were released today, sales would be banned and the rockstar would be facing legal action 💀
The music is so iconic, brings me back to being 9/10 years old. I had so many hours logged on this game. This is the one that got me hooked. I learned a glitch on how to get into the prison by flying. If you went to a really high building and then jumped off and then kept hitting the jump button over and over you, you would be suspended in air and could go right over walls, I remember when I finally got into the prison it was so sick, because you literally can’t get in there haha, or aren’t supposed to anyways, so I was just walking around and taking out all the inmates 😂

GTA 2 was the first GTA game i played and I was even born in 2007. It was in 2011 when I was 4 and I was playing it on my old Windows XP pc and it was fun. Now I play it on PS1 emulator and I still feel the same nostalgia.
This game was not just incredibly cool for its time, but incredibly cool even today. Every single bit of that game was incredibly. It was funny, creative, challenging, with a fantastic choice in music and radio stations. Still hoping to eventually see all the cars remade in 3D
I was to young to experience the 2d era of GTA but ive had a dreamcast since the age of 12 and I've loved this game ever since. It's just so unique compared to literally any other gta game. 2d or otherwise. Especially with the whole game taking place at night on the DC version. It just has an unbeatable vibe.
Oh and speaking of gta on dreamcast have you seen footage of the upcoming gta III dreamcast port? It's unbelievable that after all these years of people speculating if the game would've been doable on dreamcast if they hadn't moved development over to the ps2 are finally being answered and it's beautiful!
