I cannot tell you what to choose, but having done the MSc in PM myself. I would say it has more Job opportunities as it is a very broad course and is applicable in all industries . It is a good course, check out the review that i did on the course and see for yourself. Also almost all of my ex classmates from the MSc in PM managed to land jobs in various industries post graduation, even though it took a while for some.

    Ireland has a high cost of living compared to many other nations in the EU. The advantage of studying there is your English language skills will improve and English is the international language in business and all other processions. My advice - don't live in Dublin. The other Irish cities are cheaper, as this video points out. Limerick, Cork, and Galway all have excellent universities. There are also 18 "Institutes of Technology" in many of the smaller cities. These institutes have a wide variety of courses that can lead to a good job. This is a good video Ishmael. It will help people.

      ! You are very right and these are good advises. I absolutely enjoyed my time in the rural Limerick, much better to live in other counties than Dublin. Unfortunately most of the job opportunities land us in the capital. But yeah, given a choice i would also advise someone to study anywhere in the country and stay from Dublin for as long as possible lol.

    • @mariusmatei2946
      @mariusmatei2946 2 роки тому

      Yeah, in terms of costs of living (to say the least), Dublin is in the same league with cities like Copenhagen, Geneva, or New York. It is true that elsewhere in Ireland, the costs of living are somewhat lower, but, elsewhere in Ireland, except for Cork, it's the vast (but famed Irish) town & country; so, "lower costs of living", in Ireland (but elsewhere, too; alas "lower costs of living" in the same sentence with countries like Denmark, Switzerland, Ireland, and a few others, is Quite The Oximoron), kinda "come with the territory" (pun intended 😉)!!

      @@nassunajacqueline8074 Yes that is true, and some people will return home. it is not everyone who wishes to remain in Ireland. Also in the past, graduates complained that they struggled to get jobs when returning home due to the high rate of employment. And also part of the benefits of studying masters in Ireland is that you get a two year Visa to work here post graduation, so why not use it? The best way to convince them is that you would like to remain in Ireland to pursue professional career opportunities. Even better is to try and secure a job opportunity before the end of your course. You will just have to also inform them tht you are aware that you remaining in Ireland automatically means all funding stops immediately and you are solely responsible to make sure that you apply for the relevant visa and make sure you legally remain in the country.

You need letter of invitation from whoever you are visiting and their copy passport and irish visa they are on and their financial statements or proof of accommodation in terms of booked hotel or air bnb. You need to show that you are employed in your own country and provide proof of employment and home address, you need to have a return ticket booked, you need to show your financial statement and bring a certain amount of money, they require you have at-least €100 per day to live in ireland. If you want a socialist paradise try Denmark/Sweden/Finland but your wages and job prospects are less and tax is very high. Ireland adopts a lower tax model but the downside is people have to pay some part of the services. More money in your pocket in Ireland compared to better services but less money in your pocket. in socialist countries. The USA is the best example of the opposite of a socialist country which you would hate as you would need to pay for all services (wages are good though). One should always know which type of country you are deciding on. Great to have the choice though. No country has the best of all worlds, it's a balancing act for governments. It's up to you what model you prefer. And from your list of complaints I would suggest trying another country even UK as they have a free health system. Great to be able to be able to pick and choose from the great European countries that have done all the hard social policy work over generations to arrive at the paradise that Europe is now. Strange to be complaining though, isn't it!

    It might suprise you Ishmael to know it is the same for Irish people here in Ireland, this is how it is, we just get on with it, my goodness Ishmael what you say about Grafton St being packed with people, i have to tell you any African Capitol i have seen on UTube is packed with people, so that is a crap funny remark to make about Grafton St😅, Africans like to drink alcohol to, BIG TIME, so stop with the attempt at stereotyping ok.

    Ireland gives you money with one hand and take it with the other hand... They make sure foreigners spends all their money there..If Irish state wanted the rent to be lower they should allow the construction companies to build new homes

      It has not really changed for Africa and it's people. The African Union is the solution, Africa for Africans.

      In Scotland, Holland France etc.it is possible to live on a nice boat, that floats with rising sea levels. As we all share this beautiful Ocean Planet it makes sense to enjoy a career choice of working at sea,.on Superyachts and travel first class and get paid. Ireland has the distinction of being the first country to legalize gay marriage by popular vote. That in itself is a good reason to check it out as you'd be living with a friendly, tolerant and peaceful people who value nature and respect all peoples. If you can find a partner there it is an excellent country to bring up children. 🧡🌈
