I generally didn't watch American UA-cam because I thought I wouldn't be able relate as a South African buuuut WOW. I'm sold and currently binging on your content... Keep up the great work🤗
You did a great job! I wore a pixie for years and still have short hair. I watched all of Kaye Wright’s videos. Her videos saved me from having bad hair days.
It turned out well, I was nervous for you while watching...if I may give some tips: set your hair while it’s wet, it’ll take the foam wrap better...I would x the leave in and opt for an oil or oil moisturizer lotion after the drying process...also if you want volume maybe not mold the natural part so it keeps its texture to add thickness...I would attempt to comb chase the natural part just so it gets more smooth and has a more wispy/silky effect...coming from being natural so long, you did GREAT!
Those are good tips. That’s what one of my former stylists did when I had a pixie. Alisha, follow the styling process that your stylist used. Forget layering 50+ products like natural UA-camrs. Cleanse, condition, and style (as Black Girl Curls say).
You did good Alisha😊 If I may make a suggestion, from my own experience having relaxed and natural texturesat the same time. I would only mold the relaxed part. And just blow dry the natural part of your hair. it saved me so much frustration with trying to mold down these 4c curls. I think you did a great job Congrats 🤗
Whew Chile I was worried about that mold and them wraps but it turned out cute. I to have a pixie and just a tip when applying the Nairobi apply it directly from the bottle place the nozzle as close to the scalp as you can get it that way more product is at the root of the hair it really makes a tin of difference and your hair will lay really flat. Watch the hairazor in here she has amazing tutorials and kayewright
AlishaWilliams I wish I could leave my fine textured hair natural like yours with a pixie but this Miami humidity won’t allow that... but yours looks beautiful.
Looks really good. I love the Nairobi foam been using for years. Now i want to try the design esst. heat protector esp. since i started using the shampoo.
Hey Alisha!! You did really good for this to be your first time styling short natural/relax hair. If you don’t mind I would like to offer some suggestions when it comes to molding your short cut. Tip number one would be when molding your hair especially the natural back section get you a ratail comb and part your hair and add the setting lotion to each parted section. I promise you it will lay down better. When you apply the setting lotion to the scalp it helps in laying the hair down underneath. If you just apply the product on the top but want the hair underneath to lay down as well you need to apply the product there as well as applying it to the top of the head. Also I would recommend getting a FHI Ceramic flatiron. They are a little more pricey but worth it for help maintaining the health of your hair.
You actually did an excellent job!👍🏾😜 if I may give you some pointers since I'm a shortcut girl for decades ... I would say when mowing down your hair do the natural part with gel of your choice and do the perm part with the setting lotion that would totally eliminate the blow dry... Or you can just use gel on your entire hair the gel I prefer is by "IC" that gel does not harden ...after curling your way of choice then I will say style it with a rack-com that will give better volume and shape to your style...not to criticize you but I feel like you used too many products on your hair tried to break your products down to just using three the only thing I use is a leave-in conditioner to moisturize the jail to mold it the serum to bring volume and shine to it🤷🏾♀️
You should try Paul Mitchell Foaming Pomade it will help with controlling your curls along with foam wrap and instead of applying foam wrap with hands apply directly to hair the pomade then brush and apply wrap strips hair will come out much smoother😀
Alicia Sands I was scared it would weight my hair down, but surprisingly it hasn’t at all. I think it’s the type of leave-in a use, but my hair hasn’t felt heavy and it’s been a week since washing it lol
Awesome effort but if you go on UA-cam and just type in pixie cut there are a ton of tutorials with ladies who have beautiful pixie cut. they may be able to offer you some good advice. I loved my pixie my favorite part was styling but you did a great job 💋💋💋
Yeah, you did it. Not much to it really. There are many wonderful UA-camrs as well out there who have it down to a science you can reference. For i.e., Lorissa Nelson. Blessings
It's so cute! I do see leaving hair natural at the top gives more body and volume.

I love your hair!!!!! Perfect style! But can I ask why you didn't just relax all of your hair or texlax it?
ebuddy2cute I did it to help keep the volume up top. BUT I’ll probably end up just relaxing my whole head lol
@@AlishaWilliams you know what after I commented that's what came to mind when you mentioned you love the volume....I love your hair!!!
AlishaWilliams I wish I could leave my fine textured hair natural like yours with a pixie but this Miami humidity won’t allow that... but yours looks beautiful.

😃" I 🧡your natural hair. It's already beautiful and needs no relaxer. "
Awesome job!! Love it.

LOVE THE HAIR 💇 DO !
I love it! You look amazing!!! I went back to relaxed in Feb. when I washed and styled my hair in under an hour I knew I made the right choice for me
Leslie P girl it’s a total game changer! And the fact that you can go a week or even longer without washing it (and it still look good) is amazing!!
Its very shiny and healthy looking.
You did an awesome job!
Cute! You did a great job!🤗
Great job!
Luv it!
I love it! you look great!
Love the cut....it may work a little better without the leave in conditioner. Just a thought!
Kimberly Preston thank you! I may try without the leave-in next time to compare
You did a good job, however I absolutely love your natural hair, curls! seems that would be much easier for workouts!
You did an amazing job.
You did a great job! 😊
You look good sis I love your hair style ❤💕❤

Our stylist are essential wokers.😁

GOOD AFTERNOON
FAMILY ❤ PRAYING ALL IS WELL 🙏
You did good. 😃👍👍
Looks good🙂
So cute! The leave in conditioner weighs the hair down so next time use either or maybe not both.
Alicia Sands I was scared it would weight my hair down, but surprisingly it hasn’t at all. I think it’s the type of leave-in a use, but my hair hasn’t felt heavy and it’s been a week since washing it lol

Hey love the video,,, Do you have another UA-cam channel????
Beautiful, that cut is you.
You should check out Roxy Bennett she's also a UA-camr
Cute.
Cute
❤
You remind me of youtuber Kyra Knox, nice job😊
she's her twin sister😉
❣️
Awesome effort but if you go on UA-cam and just type in pixie cut there are a ton of tutorials with ladies who have beautiful pixie cut. they may be able to offer you some good advice. I loved my pixie my favorite part was styling but you did a great job 💋💋💋
u have beautiful eyes love xx
Looks nice! You should watch Roxy Bennett here on YT- she is realllllly good with maintaining her pixie and her videos are easy to follow.
GoodGirl_ GoneGlam I’ve been stalking her videos 😂
AlishaWilliams oh good! If I had the face for it I would definitely chop my hair off. Black women rock short cuts better than anybody!!!!
You look like Laura Winslow when she cut her hair short
Your first wrap should go all the way around your head and hold from the lotion, then put others on top of it. Just a suggestion.
You look cute with short hair but in my opinion Longer bang would look better on u.
@SandiAroundTheWorld who hurt you?
In her previous video, she said that she’s growing it out some.
👍🏾
Yeah, you did it. Not much to it really. There are many wonderful UA-camrs as well out there who have it down to a science you can reference. For i.e.,
Lorissa Nelson. Blessings
Came through
Nice!!!!
Nope. It looks like an 80s cut/style.
Dont rub the foam in your hand
Look like LORISSA NELSON
You dont have to be a hair guru to see that's your first time handling that hair cut , but you did your best
Too much work!! Doesn't your hair get gooey from too much product?
It looks really good. But if i were you i would just relax my whole head. It seems alot of work to get the look with the natural part of your hair.
It_s_ Ernsa that’s on my to-do list post quarantine lol
Love it!
