    I snagged one of these. I don’t know much about this stuff. Passes dim bulb test and fuses are good. Signal meter light is the only one that works

      If it passed the safety check ...I'd plug it in and see if it actually works....those bulbs are not too hard to change..

    Hey Joe. When you replaced the 4.7 ohm you picked up a bag from your case and said, "There's a 47 ohm." Did you catch yourself in time? Just wondering. Great vid as I also have an STR-7055 and love it, cheers.

      Hi John, I'm not 100% sure about that, but 99% sure it was a slip of the tougue....the right capacitor is in, I am sure!!!

    Saludos como buen entendido que es, que opinión le merece el receiver Yamaha dsp ax2 en cuanto a calidad de construcción, componentes internos y calidad de sonido? Que calificación le daria?

    Great. The receiver is very nice. Sound is also nice. Not feeling to throw away. But I have problem in Right Speakers not speaking.

    I have the same exact Sony receiver, working great but the dial lights are out.. Figure it is time to replace them. Do you have a part number or link for the LED replacements???
    Thank You. Robert, San Diego, Ca. USA

    Just found one of these in my uncle basement. Left channel seems to have an issue. It sometimes distorts with static as if it’s shorting out. A few missing knobs and the mute even work. Are these expensive to fix?

      @VintageAudioFever  Місяць тому

      Alot of times it's not really expensive to repair a rec/amp. It would cost more ro try to replace those knobs your missing

    I have this receiver in regular use for years. Now it just quit working while playing music and went dark. There was no noise or smoke/smell when it happened. Any idea what could be faulty ?

      Hi...I did read your comment and it could be so many things that could of cause this receiver to stop work suddenly. ..I would start by checking the main fuse, but really, it's hard to say without seeing it.. if your main fuse is out, I would start off with your outputs.

      @ Thank you Sir. Where is the Fuse located and how does it look ?

    Does it really consume 300W when playing music as it is written in the manual or less?

    • @oglinkgog
      @oglinkgog Рік тому

      It'll be more like 50w under normal levels, you'd have to have it cranked to the max to get near 300w
