Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing swatches of the Cuccio spring 2022 nail polish collection which is called Go With the Flow.. and I am not too impressed haha! What did you think of these polishes? I loved the creme finishes and the metallic silver but the rest were a no for me! Excited about their new brush though :)
Cuccio is vegan, cruelty free, and 12 free.

Besides your uber-calming voice that I listen to relax at the end of days, reviews like these are one of the reasons I REALLY respect and enjoy your channel. I know that I can trust you to give a truly honest review even on brands that you usually really like. It makes me even more confident to purchase something that you review as a great product. ♥
Oh gosh thank you for your kind words 🖤🖤
It really us true. She's helped me so much with my nail painting confidence!
I trust her opinions without question because I know she'll tell the truth.
i can thank (blame?) a huge portion of my collection on kelli because of this! honest and consistent.
Sally Hansen just came out with a "repair and rescue" line that has a stain fighter in it. I've used it and it really works on me. Nails were always a gradient yellow, but the product minimized it by a lot. It goes on like a clear polish with shimmer. I left it on for a couple days before I got the bug to put on a different color. When I took it off, nearly all the yellow staining was gone. Would definitely recommend if you wanna have some extra brightness before going bare or having a sheer polish on.
There is something blissful about watching your videos while working on a knitting project. I've been doing this for years now, just thought I'd share!
I love how you’re not biased towards certain brands. Even though you LOVE cuccio, you still give your honest reviews and opinions about it. Keepin it real 👏❤️
The thumbnail is telling me these are gorgeous colors… can’t wait for the swatches! And yay! Love the new brush. A wide flat is my favorite, but the curved tip is so important!
The curved tip makes such a huge difference!! I'm loving it!!
The right brush makes a big difference for people like me that have some struggles in application. Haven’t purchased any Cuccio yet but I’m starting a wishlist today! Thanks for the post 😍
You honestly are my FAVORITE reviewer of nail polish and I ALWAYS love your hair. 🥰
You’re my favorite too Kelli
I apply two coats of base coat instead of only one, and this helps a lot to protect the nails from staining. At first I did this to smooth out the ridges on my nails because I didn't want to buff them too much and had no ridgefiller in my stash - and it worked perfectly, but also made the polish last a bit longer and minimized nail staining. I was pleasantly surprised with this result, base coats never worked for me as a protection from staining before.
Objective and honest reviews as always and I'm here for it!! 😍I also find the shimmers thing surprising, because I too find that most brands struggle more with getting an awesome creme formula down than they do shimmers/toppers/glitters etc. The rounded edge brush I am very excited for though!
I am enormously grateful for your objective views, Kelli. Thanks for another wonderful video.
Oh gosh thank you Claudia!!
My nails and cuticles used to get stained all the time, then I watched your video on how to remove polish and now they never get stained! Thanks Kelli!
Great news regarding the Brush change! Here and now and be present are my favorites as well as the Green Shimmer. Overall love the collection. Nice colors.
Kelli, I really appreciate that you always give your honest opinion and impressions of the polishes regardless of your feelings toward the brand! We need more people like you in the world ☺️
In the moment reminds me a little of a polish from the discontinued line from forever 21 called “seashell”. It’s a beautiful Marsala pink jelly polish with an intense gold reflect and micro holo undertone. I need a company to make a dupe. It’s the most beautiful shade.
I love Cuccio cremes and it was the flat brush which often held me back. Now, when I see one I like, there will be no hesitation. Thank you for your review!
Thanks so much for such an honest review. It is so helpful for us who watch swatches and hopefully Cuccio will work on their formulas a bit for those shimmery colors
Your discussion of intentionally sheer formulas made me go looking for a video of your favorite sheer finish polishes! Since discovering your channel I've gone back to inspect my nail polish collection and discovered I have a few jelly polishes I'd stopped using because I didn't know the sheerness was intentional. Now I'm wearing the easiest french nail ever because I got to use a peach-pink jelly. So thank you Kelli!
I'm really enjoying your lovely descriptions of colours and shades and perfect swatches!
Thanks for your honesty! I love your channel; I can always trust your reviews.
OMG I am so excited for that rounded brush. I'm not sure there are polishes in this set I'd get but new releases having this brush is awesome.
Omg when you show us in the moment i was wowed it looked so beautiful and then you started applying it… i hate those kind of surprises when you buy a polish 😅 that’s why now i wait and watch the reviews before buying 👀
I think these are the most interesting variety of colors for a spring collection this year and that is awesome about the new brush. I love the shimmer green so much. It is too bad about the 4 coats!
Man this video had me going through some emotions! The thumbnail concerned me, then I heard there was good Cuccio news, then some of those formulas. Some fun colors though, shame some were so hard to build up!
Hahaha! It was an emotional rollercoaster to film 😂😂
I think you're right about switching the polish to avoid staining. I have less stains now that I change my polish frequently. I also think that the polish color matters. Bright red, blue and purple tend to stain me the most.
Teal colors are the bad boys for me. In addition to reds, like you. 😕
Such a relaxed review! Curved brushes make all the difference!
Sometimes I will use a super sheer polish as a transformative topper on another polish. They can turn out really great, or sometimes really ugly, but it's kinda fun to experiment. They can be especially fun over black or may as well be black colors.
Ooh I should really try doing some experiments!!
great video as always Kelli🥰 Go with the flow is such a gorgeous color and I can't wait to get my hands on it 💙
can you do a video on your favorite base and top coat please?! would really appreciate that 💖
My nails never stain either and I have left my manicure on for 7 days at a time for 3 years now. You must be right about the naturally oily nail beds. Some people probably are just more prone to staining than others. I have never thought about it!
I think the gray would be a great base for cherry spring nail art.
Love the honesty
This collection would be even more gorgeous with a matte top coat. Great review! 😍
Ooooh! I need that "Care Free" - it looks like a good substitution for OPI's "Take a Right on Bourbon" which is my favorite nail polish of all time! I've been looking for years for another warm-toned silver, so thank you!
I could recommend you try out Sally Hansen Gilty Party. It is silver, bur with some warmer flecks in it. It is a perfect dupe of OPI Designer de Better which is sadly not available anymore.
Calm, cool and collected is my fave. It’s a pity In the moment is patchy, cos I like the colour/shimmer combo.
Okay I used your broken nail repair technique today for a nail that had a vertical tear down the middle that went into L shape. It was horrible break, and your technique worked! I was so happy I didn’t have to lose that nail!
What video does she talk about this in?
@@Hivdghn it was one I stumbled upon a while ago. You kind of have to search her video to find it.
Thanks for an honest, balanced review. I do like the coral color though.
Glad to hear about the new brush. Love that they are pretty inexpensive and are 12 free! Some of he colors reminded me of their summer collection.
I love cuccio! You introduced me to them! Thanks for the review!
Omg that here and now color omg
Thank you for your honesty with swatching these polishes…very helpful 🤔
i’m so disappointed that In The Moment isn’t more opaque. it’s probably my favorite shade in the whole collection
New to Cuccio from other reviews you have done and I Bought these colors not realizing they were a collection. The ones that use 3 coats definitely work better with short nails. But love the new brush so much.
I was super curious about the fun fact question! Thank you for the answer and the review :D
Glad you enjoyed it 😄
Your hair looks so good in this video!
Man I really love how in the moment looks I hope they redo it and make the formula work!
I’d love to see you try rubber base and top coat and see what you think as far as longevity and ease of use!
Hi Kelli, love your videos and all that I've learned from them. As someone in their 40's who works in a fancy restaurant at a big brand hotel, my nails have to be conservative, short pale pink, pale peach, pale sheer lavender or neutral tones and are done every 3-4 days because of all the hard work and banging around they have to do. I find a sheer, jelly or one coat of crelly to be ideal for this so I do wish I could see the one coat for a couple moments longer than you usually show it in all your videos. I'll sometimes add the nail polish reviver to my Essie / Cuccio cremes just to get them more sheer and delicate looking. I think I'll be ordering the Open Minded as a one coat and Be Flexible as a fun "late 90's vacation" throwback color for my toes. I also have oily skin that's light olive and pink in undertones so, cool sheer pinks are my go to and that Sally Hansen Cinnasnap as THE classic correct red on me for the random weekend out. Bright and intense colors are only for toes when it comes to the work week. Not a fan of most glitters as it would never fly at work and I find it impossible to get off even with acetone. Want to see more Essie reviews. All the best, Nat
OO! We love Go With The Flow! It looks amazing. It fits that Pantone vibes 😍😍
Ooh yeah it does!!
Time to cosy up for another swatch video :) love ya Kelli!
Love ya!!! 🥰
I have yet to try a Cuccio cream polish and Go With The Flow might be it for me. I love slate blue/grey polishes. I also love that they changed their brush, your application looks impeccable. More wide flat brushes!!! We demand it 🤣
Seriously I loved the old cuccio brush but this new one is LEAGUES better haha!!
I really agree with your assessment on this collection!
Beautiful colors 💕 you have a nice relaxing voice and thanks for the great work you always do explaining the products and colors
Have a great day
You’re Really beautiful and nice Kelli
They finally changed the brush! Yes!
Yay for Cuccio going to the new brush! Love all the colors but as far as the formula goes I've noticed problems with some of the other brands too! 😒 I see things like this... " You can't be the best all the time"! Just like like some people have better luck than others using certain polish! I do not do well at all with Taco Halo Nail polish! 😒 I'm still thankful you turned my attention to Cuccio as I really do love all the polish I've gotten from them!
Thanks for reviewing this set and being honest. I liked the purple but would use on top of a white or pale purple. But you're right, its not too unique so im not running out to get it.
I love the Polish In the Moment, I think it's very pretty and I don't have anything like that in my collection, but I've only got 500 in my collection, I think since you have over 2000 you probably have more options, lol. But I think that Green is Beautiful as Well, I love green polishes too. I'm so glad they are coming out with more greens.
First off, great review! Second, thanks for making me feel like I’m not extra by wanting to paint my nails so often! 😀
I got Calm, Cool and have it on right now. I like the color and iridescence, but after buying creams from Cuccio (Aquaholic is my go-to one coat polish), I was shocked at the three coats I need! I LOVE the new brush and hope they will sell them separately so I can replace all my other brushes.
💅💅💅love the vid. I think Cuccio are a very unknown brand in the uk, my clients tend to pick OPIs however they don't realise how nail friendly Cuccio are compared to OPI. Yep a base colour would be the way forward although they would not be an expensive topper here. :-) I love Cuccio as I can hold more Cuccio bottles on a shelf rather than OPI or China Glaze 🙂xx
I have wow the world by cuccio and is such a gorgeous bright green cream but is a 3-4 coater on my long nails. They are a bit hit and miss with their polishes..loved the video as always xxx
You should check out OPI's Pompeii Purple for a very similar color to Be Flexible. It's one of my favs
Anyone else never paint their nails, but still enjoy this channel? Just me? Ok cool. 😆
Thanks for the honest review. I love Cuccio and may get one cream from the collection. I agree with your opinion about the shimmers. Hmmm…. Not feeling them!
The only one that really speaks to me is Care Free in silver ✨💃🏻✨
I haven’t seen the whole video yet, but I came to say I loved the thumbnail 😂😂
Niiice collection ✨
Well hello coincidence! Just came to check for a nice new video. 🥰
Haha good timing!!
Me too. I got bored of my long nails and cut them off yesterday. I was hoping a few minutes back, that Kelli would post some new swatchez!
I wear base coat, I don’t keep my mani for more than 3 days. Rarely it last a week when I’m too lazy and they still get stained 😂😂. My manicure can last up to 10 days without chipping and I have no idea how that happens because that’s my least interest to have a mani that last long since I am constantly changing them 😆
Ahhh In the Moment had so much potential 😭 I loved that color
Love the new brush 🥰
Me too!!!
I first came across Cuccio when I wanted to try Dip Powders. It was relatively inexpensive and I loved the colors, still do I have about 50 of them, lol! Do you know if they have matching polish and dip powder?
OMFG THIS BRUSH. Yessssss
RIGHT??? I screeched when I saw it lol 😂
@@KelliMarissa do you know if it’s just new releases or they’ll be switching the brush for all previous formulas? I can’t find us info on their website!
When I saw the title I was like “Spring already?!?” but it’s actually 70 degrees outside where I am today so I guess it fits!
Haha right! I actually had the window open for a bit today and it was so nice! About 50 degrees here but still nice compared to this snowy weather I've been having 😅
Thank you for answering my question i feel like you could hear the desperation in my writing lol
LOL appreciate you asking, I wish I could be more helpful 😅😅
Please review the I Scream Nails Loved Up Bundle! I think you’ll like the Heart Attack topper. xo 💕
P.S. loved how savage you were in this video! Adorbs!
Beautiful cremes.
Oof. Bad form, Cuccio. I do really like Here & Now, Be Present, Calm, Cool, and Collected, and Go with the Flow, but I'm not all that impressed with the rest. That's too bad, they had great potential! But yay for the new brush! That is so exciting! As always, thank you for your honest reviews and for your amazing videos. 💜
Have you ever reviewed Moon Cat polishes? I just bought some really unique multichromes from them (Mercury's Tears was incredible!)
Be present is super pretty :3
I wonder if the shimmers would work better on top of the cremes from this collection? So like In The Moment might look quite good and give better coverage over Here & Now. Be Flexible could work on top of either Here & Now or Be Present. Open Minded might look good on top of Go With The Flow.
I find that I use the more sheer shimmers I have like that - as a subtle shift to a creme base colour allowing me to get a shade that I don't have a creme option for.
I really love everything Cuccio! It's all l buy.
I got 4 of these polishes myself a couple weeks back and initially I thought they were fine, but I gotta agree on the patchiness for the sheer polishes (I didn't grab any of the cremes as I don't care for those most of the time). It's a real 50/50 for me: they're okay but they coulda been significantly better. Have you tried layering In The Moment as a topper? You might find some redeeming qualities about it that way!
Ooh I haven't tried that but I definitely will!!
Not a gold medal for some of these but all the more exciting when u do find polishes that work.
What is the name of your nail polish turnstyle? I need something new but can't seem to find anything like that.
Ok but what are you wearing in the in/outro?? Pretty blue!
LOVE THE CREAMS THANKS
What top coat do you use with the cremes? Thanks. Just found your channel, and love your honesty, it's refreshing.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet! The Cuccio top coat is actually one of my favorites 😄
Lol I don’t know anything about my nails, maybe mine are oily too. I always have nail polish on, never use base coat but never have staining
Do you find Cuccio in stores in your area? I never have seen this polish anywhere near me; San Francisco, CA.
Sure do love this type of brush!!
I won't put more than two coats on my nails. I once did 3 coats because of coverage, but it's not worth it since it was more work to take off.
Pretty colors but honestly I have these colors in several other brands. They sheer ones, what a let down. I was excited to see them, and then...pfft. I do like that new brush. I appreciate your honest review. I may pick up the blue and aged silver one.
I liked Go with the Flow.
So I’m 34 weeks pregnant and I’ve noticed that my baby kicks when I play your videos.. he’s been barly active all day and and within a few seconds of you talking he’s moving around again. Also, when I started your video the first time ( got distracted my killer whales) he started moving and then was still the entire time until I pressed play again. I think I may be watching your channel to much lol.
I don’t know if you still use Lush’s Lemony Flutter, but because of the lemon in it I found it slightly whitened my nails though I wasn’t wearing nail polish as often back then so I don’t know how much of an impact it would have against that staining.
Oh man so funny you mention that, I just said to my BF last night that I need a new Lemony Flutter because I ran out and I'm really missing it!!
I have a question, Do you coordinate your outfits with your nail polish? You said you usually wear your polish for 3 days, so do you coordinate all 3 days? I'm crazy about coordinating my polish with my clothes so if I have my polish on more than 3 days I will make sure I do that.
Haha yes I usually do! But to be fair most of my clothing is black or gray so most of my color coordinating is with my makeup 😅😅
oooo i need cool calm and collected
There’s no way I would buy a polish that needs 4 coats. I’m not impressed with this collection. I liked Here & Now. Thank you for the reviews.
3rd attempt at posting this question…what’s the other favorite base?
Hi Hunni!!!
The Only Ones I Like Are:
Go With The Flow And
Be Flexible.
What Colour Is On Your Nails??? It's Gorgeous!!! 💙💙💙💙💙
I'm always meaning to try the cuccio base. I have mustard colored nails. I do 3-4 manis a week, and usually (9/10 times) use a peel off base.
I don't like using a lot of acetone on my skin & I change my nails so frequently that peel off is the best option.
But I have MAJOR staining. I can't even go out with naked nails. I have 2 brighteners but I need multiple coats to fully cover the yellow.
Negative space nail art is out of the question.
But Kelli seems to change her polish frequently & her nail(s) look healthy and normally colored. I can't think of a better advertisement for a base coat.
Anyone know if cucvio makes a peel off?
I think peel off base coats don't protect against staining at all, unfortunately.
Go with the flow is the only one I'd want.
