To be fair, the draw ceremony started at 3pm EST on a Sunday afternoon during the last month of the NFL season. The only people watching on ESPN at the time were already soccer fans to begin with. Since then, all other WC draw ceremonies have taken place on a Friday evening in Europe, afternoon here in the US (save for 2002). I would imagine that the 2026 draw ceremony will be the same. Might be on broadcast TV, though.
