I just looked him up. There's a 'Gettyimages' photo of 'Jumping' George Corner woggle hopping over his own Victorian letterbox in his garden, aged 79 years. He had just raised £1000 for disabled children. Mr. Corner is also featured in Colne Valley Postal Museum. What a wonderful, healthy, and unique way to find passion, purpose, and meaning in life!
He's wearing what looks like an MoD beret without a badge on, but he didn't bother shaping the bloody thing properly. Half wonder if he's smuggling a pillar box.
@@stephenchappell7512 At 44, he could have been a senor NCO. Not sure what his military record was, but he was just about young enough to be fighting in WW2.
That's great, I'm 63 and workout everyday, my body is as flexible and strong as when I was 20, I'm actually stronger, if you shake my hand you'll know it. Good luck. 🙏🇺🇸
George jumped over a Land Mine, Trained a Dolphin to jump over a Letterbox and his hardest task was training Paul Sykes to punch a shark in the Fooking Ear hole!!
“Come up to London” bombaclaat. Erryman know that da train go up da mainline to London. More so back in the times of this production. Shocked tbh. Legit. Even know proper council stock people I have encountered know that you go up to London.
I tried woggle hopping after a night out and earned my scout "Midnight trip to A&E" badge!

sorry to tell you but he died long ago. if he was still alive he would be 120 years old.. And probably still up for it.

Why have you wrote Gettyimages in inverted commas?

Did you jump it?

Hence the important of prepositions. In this case "over" and "on" have a very different results ; )
By his bearing, and demeanour, he looks like ex military to me, top man.
They were all ex military then? Haven’t you heard of WW2?

I'm. Glad someone POSTED that .!
Pure gold✨
Lovely chap
71 years old. Bloody amazing
WoggleHopping might be the most British term I've ever heard.
Woggle hopping - who knew. Good for you George. Age is just a number and if you're fit it doesn't matter if you're 71 or 21.

Men of his era were cut from a different cloth.
Yes, tweed mostly.
Notice that he gave telephone boxes a wide berth.
Still at it , saw him down the bull ring in Birmingham yesterday, gets a bit annoying after a bit tbh .
Only the British, so proud
George was a top bloke and often jumped in fancy dress! There are colour clips later from the 70s of him woggle-hopping in full hunting gear!
He trained a dolphin? To jump over a letterbox? Nice.
They must have had an early version of sponge bob
I imagine those top ornaments could cause a problem or two.

So how high is a woggle anyways? Like neck-height or right below that?
What a hero.
There’s no shortage of batty Yorkshiremen out there. Just ask me kids!
Q. How do you know you're in a room with a Yorkshireman?
A. He'll tell you.

Nowadays, people can't even jump out of bed.
"PARKOUR!"
I've jumped over a cluster bomb

He’s talking about chicken turds left on the drive way. Carful not to stand on them when they get out of the car
They used to have old land mines on the beach promenades in the 70's with slots cut in them to put money for the RNLI - I assume he meant one of them
I wonder what this guy would have thought of the collective west in 2022. He'd probably say "at least we're not speaking German", amirite.
