Reactionize - Def Leppard Hell Raiser - Reacting and Reviewing Every Def Leppard Song!

- Welcome to Reactionize - our quest to react and review every single Def Leppard track! It's a long, fun journey, so we hope you'll stay with us.
Today we do another track from Def Leppard's 2006 release, 'Yeah'. A collection of cover songs that showcased Def Leppard's musical influences that help shape their signature sound. One of those bands was a British glam band, The Sweet (soon changed to just Sweet in the early 70's). Sweet racked up thirteen Top 20 hits in the 70's, with today's song, 'Hell Raiser' from their 'Live at the Rainbow 1973 - The Complete Concert', which was recorded from the Rainbow Theatre in London.

Glad you dug it! The entire Yeah album is actually really good! They did some songs like this that were very true to the original, and then they did others like Waterloo Sunset and Rock On and updated them, which are also fantastic. I had about to give up on you guys doing the reactions again. Been several months since your last. Never heard this , not my favorite, but it’s different for sure . Glad you guys are back . I don’t really drink , so I am here for the Def Leppard reactions lol

I’m a Brit…I grew up with Sweet, T. Rex etc it came out 1973 and reached #2 in UK top 40.
How did the cover hold up for you?

@@2TEN90 Life happens. Believe me, I know. There are a handful of songs I listen to, but I am not a huge fan of covers albums. I would prefer original music from my favorite artists (DL, Aerosmith, et al.) Cheers and Rock on!
@@adamschwab9948 Definitely fair...though, Rock On and Waterloo Sunset have become two of my all-time Lep favorites!
@@2TEN90 The album is definitely front-loaded. The first four songs (going from memory) are great. And “No Matter What” (forgot where the songs lands on the tracking order). It’s been a minute since I listened to Yeah from beginning to end.
