This Is The Best Parts Telecaster I've Ever Seen Or Played! - Partscaster Bliss!

- In this video we check out an amazing Partscaster (Telecaster) that I picked up for $330. This baby is amazing. It has 62 Fender Pickups in it, a licensed by Fender All Parts neck and what I believe to be an All Parts body and original USA Fender vintage tuners, control plate and bridge. The neck on this guitar is amazing, and is also the fattest neck I've ever felt on a guitar.,.. and that includes my Kotzen Tele and a Paul Gilbert Ibanez Fireman! I disassemble the guitar in the video and feature all the parts and pieces. I also provide a professionally recorded audio demo of the guitar using a few patches on my Fractal AX8. I hope you enjoy the video. Let me know what you think of this Partscaster. Please subscribe!

5:51 Handy hint: if reusing the strings when you’re taking off the neck, just loosen them and place a capo at the first fret - that saves all the faff of reattaching the unwound strings especially 👍
I left my capo at the shop I work at. 😩. I almost never do work at home anymore.
You can tell that somebody really love that guitar for days.
i love partscasters honesty, through the years ive bought and sold many 80's and 90's squire strats and they are amazing platforms. great experience as well refinishing and rewiring
Agreed. I have used bunches of Squier Strats and Teles to do all kinds of mods, and turn them into really cool projects, and ultimately, great guitars. A lot of fun.
A Tele has been on my next list for a little while now, looks like you found quite a gem there.
I'd take that one over a brand name any day,I built one similar to that and your 100% right,it's awesome
Thanks dude, I'm really loving the guitar!
Outstanding playing on the demo . There's some tone in there !
Really cool! As a person who's rebuilt cars, motorcycles, guitars, and of course houses I firmly believe if you source your own parts and take your time you can always build better than you can buy.
Sounds killer.
True man!!! 😀🎵
very tasteful tele chord and note choices. great tremolo effect. Score on that beauty!
Thanks! I was going for a fresh vibe. Trying anyways ! 😎☮️🍺
Heck of a deal on a nice axe...congrats! It sounds great, and that bridge pickup is sweet!
17:59 the theme song!
🤟🏻😎🤟🏻
I built one with all the 60's hardware and electrics .,but stainless threaded saddles ..relic'd and hot rodded ....these 62 pickups look and sound amazing...👍
I dig the pups too!
So glad you and that Tele found each other Marty. You really did it justice with your demo. If I lived next door to you, I would have my windows open all the time for the noodlin' concerts. 🤘
I took my Squier Classic Vibe 50’s Telecaster and modded it. It has Alnico III pickups in it that look exactly like the ‘62 Pickups, and I routed it with a smugglers rout, put an arm cut & a belly carve on it. Swapped out the electronics with a solderless set. The body modifications took 2.5lbs off a 10lb guitar. Now it weighs a reasonable 7.5lbs. I put a short scale - 24.75” scale compound radius 10”-16” Warmoth Neck on it. I love the thing now. It’s always ready to be played.
Wow, dude, you got an awesome deal on this tele! Great vid, keep rockin' 🤟
That’s the perfect color green for a telecaster. What a beautiful guitar. Looks like the kind of guitar I would never put down.
Hard to beat a good old Tele man.... Prince hung on to that Madcat Hohner forever. I can see why...
Save the money on the body and neck. Get a slab, print a template for free and build one from scratch. you're still in on all the hardware and electronics, but that stuff can be sourced without spending a lot of money. I'm into the one I'm building right now around $300, that's covering pickups, bridge, saddles, nut, frets, tuning machines, jack, pots, etc. Explorer is next on the docket. That Tele sounds really nice...great tone! You got a sweet deal on that.
A few years ago I came across a Lyon Washburn MIK telecaster, I spent $40 and it’s by far the best tele that I ever had, I sold all the others including my American Fender. Sometimes is not the brand of the instruments but the person who put it together, if carries the soul and the love that of that someone..
the intro riff is in the video woo
Yes!! Some people ask for it. 😎🤟🏻
That is a great find Marty, smokin deal for the price. That guy did a really good job on the build, and it sounds great. Not a fan of real thick necks but suppose one could get used to it. Lol now I want a tele, haven't played one in a VERY long time. Have a great weekend Marty 🤘
I'm really happy with it. Get ya one man! 😎🤟🏻
Wow.... great guitar, great story with it, and superior demo. Next on my list is building a partscaster. Thanks, Brother!
Thanks man!! I appreciate it. 😎☮️
Nothing that that spanky Tele sound, great find my friend 🤘😎🎸
Hello my friend, you need to add a ground wire from the volume pot to the bridge plate and it will ground the strings and will sound even better!
Sounds like a great tele to me!
I would buy this tele.as well. He did a excellent job. Enjoy.
The Allparts site has those 1” thick necks for $226, 325, & $402.
Yeh, they're a bit pricey but worth it 😎🤟🏻
eBay has em less than $200
That double bound surf green body is worth what you paid, what great guitar and nice demo at the end.
You never needed the say anything Marty, that smile at the end was enough.. Awesome video and awesome guitar. The original owner is also smiling I'm sure. You've taught me so much man.. thank you so much. Could I ask what your Partscaster weighs please ?
Hey man! Thanks so much for watching and the support. Honestly... I never weighted it. I would venture a guess at 6.5-7 lbs.
Nice! I like relic guitars too! 🤘
Awesome playing !!!!! Awesome guitar !!!!!
Thanks a lot!
Look amazing also have partcaster all part neck n body with 63 fender original pickups only thing being from fender lol but she was made in 82 I believe in Japan , I sold my vintage me modern fenders unfortunately 😢but still haven’t look back or miss them as much for some reason
Nice, killer color too.
It's a cool mint seafoam! 😀☮️
One of my favorite guitars I own is a tele parts esquire. It is not perfect but, it's a great guitar.
Very special tele you got there.
Thanks, it's a player for sure!
Body is an Ebay vendor. I have the same one. Inexpensive but great.
No moon laser
van halen on a tele....AWESOME!!!
yaa i got lucky n scored a set of pink paisley(back in 14) re issue tele pups(99-01 era) and have them in a squier affy tele along with better pots/switch...sounds saweeet!
Thanks man!!! 😎🍺
Killer tone for a parts caster
Love love love that man. Cheers fella. 🍻🎸🎶🎵🎶🎸. Teller magic. Respect from Dover England. ✌😎.
Thanks so much sir 😎🍺
I build my own with same parts. Better than most Fenders. Yeah that's a thousand dollar guitar. Good deal there!
That was fun.
Thanks!
It just goes to show you there's always room for one more 😂👍
I lol'd. 😂
Marty, great content, I enjoyed this. Build a parts tele and relicing it is so much fun. Thanks
Jessie from TN
Oh, and love the surf green.
Marty, in case you did not know, there is someone on Telegram using your name and trying to work a scam.
Thanks bro !! 😎☮️
That has the sound and looks cool!
Thanks !! It's got a vibe.
It looks and sounds great. You know when I put together my first LP kit...finished it and set it up...I decided I didn't need my Gibson LP any more so I get it. I don't have any strats that are "Fender Strats" I love my partscasters.
If you make a gem, it's usually unbeatable. 😎🤟🏻
Cool man, nice guitar and a real bargain. Sounds just like a tele, listening from here that's for sure.
Some of the US parts castor common brands out there are fairly high in the $pendooler department, but there are the lesser known one man luther band guys that do a great job within the US for far le$$ as well. The best thing is, no one else will have one the same, that's the coolest part imo. Sky's the limit with the choices. I have never looked back after seeing the value in this. The Eastern kits, no, not for what's being asked for the Pri$e. You can get US made for that, if your prepared to look.
Marty… YOU look good wearing that tele… sweet sound n color…
Thanks! I dig teles man. They make anyone look cool. 😎
cool guitar! have the american vintage II 63 tele and I like it a lot 😊
Cool!
It’s a $100-$120 eBay EA body. Great guitar that probably feels amazing too🤘🏼
Awesome. Thanks!! 🤟🏻
What’s an EA body?
Nitro?
Heck yea…nice score Marty…I always look at “partscasters” on reverb!!!
They're hard to resist! 😀
Waay cool, Marty. I wouldn't be able to handle that fat neck. But you won't have any problem with it. You could play a telephone poll with strings on it! Rock on Bro.
Parts built guitars are an outstanding value especially a good relic .. some folks hate relic guitars .. if they are done right they are fantastic. I have to say your tone on your vids are some of the best I have heard on UA-cam .. you could probably play a 2 by 4 with strings wrapped around nails with a 10 dollar microphonic pickup and it would sound epic lol good stuff👊🏻
Thank you! 🙏
Additionally .. The story alone on this one is worth more than 300 clams bro… I have a 1 of 2 hand painted relic’d Page dragoncaster built by a boutique builder Crucible guitars out of LA CA. Took them 6 months to build and heavy relic .. all parts rosewood neck 3.5 lb ash body lollar pickups light nitro all fender parts .. neck is like butter .. the builders journey and story was well worth the cost alone .. it was way more than 300 tho.. cheers🤘🏻
Hi Marty, it looks like everybody and their brothers have tried to sell you a guitar, lol. How many is that now? Great score Marty. Peace 🕊️.
I have too many dude lol. 😂
Maybe a Mike Campbell lesson with this bad Girl here ……….?
Wow, great guitar. Want to sell it? 😮😁
Not yet 😂
